A couple notes/reminders for tomorrow (these were sent to pre-registered players in an email)
PARKING:
Both the main parking lot and the auxiliary parking lot are available. DO NOT PARK on any grass areas. The ground is too saturated and you will tear it up or get stuck. Parking along the street is okay as long as it is directly along our property. Do not park across the street or uphill of our main driveway/mailbox.
TEE TIMES:
Please check in at least 10 minutes before your tee time. There will most likely be walk-ups looking to jump on to a card during the day. If you are late and there are players waiting, you may get bumped from your scheduled time/group. You'll still be able to play unless you are late for the final tee time of the day.
PDGA Live Scoring log-in information will be given out at check in. Once tee times have started (9am), Red Dragon will be closed to warm up EXCEPT for basket 18. Anyone practice putting on 18 must yield to playing groups as they come. Talon will be open for players to warm up on if they wish.
COURSE CONDITIONS:
It has been raining for most of the last five days. That’s in addition to the two big rain storms earlier in the month. Everything is saturated and nothing is frozen. The weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow but that won't change ground conditions. Be prepared for sloppy ground conditions everywhere on the course: wear waterproof footwear and bring plenty of towels.
OUT OF BOUNDS:
Hole 1: OB only on left side of fairway marked by rope. All other rope in fairway can be ignored.
Hole 2: OB only on left side of fairway marked by rope or fence/net. Rope behind basket or on right side of fairway can be ignored.
Hole 8: OB only in ponds. If disc lands in the water, play from the drop zone with penalty.
Hole 18: OB only along property on right side of fairway. (does not include road/walking path)
All other OB markings on the course can be ignored as not part of the winter layout.
All of this will be detailed on the PDGA live scorecard as well as our paper scorecards. If there are any questions, ask them at check in.
