When a TD runs a tournament the way the PDGA site puts cards together is randomized. It takes a lot of extra work to move people around on cards after randomized and as Cory said it’s his first tournament so best to just let the site do what it does and let him focus on making sure the tourney is a success for all the players.

Cory did not set the cards up to begin with. I did. Cards are what the PDGA spit out altered only to be sure there are 2 players from a given division in any mixed groups (PDGA does not require this but imo it is unfair for players to get grouped completely outside their divisions if it can be avoided) and to create as many foursomes as possible (way less that can go wrong from the logistics standpoint). Players placed on cards with mixed divisions were placed based on being the last in their given division to register. I did move one player who has a long history of registering and not necessarily showing up from a threesome to a foursome to avoid aforementioned logistics concerns. Card requests are not legal by PDGA rules to begin with although in general TD's will take some for events with tee times rather than shotgun starts to facilitate travel.
