COURSE LAYOUT, WALK UPS, TOURNAMENT CENTRAL

Here's the layout with distances for the event on Tuesday. You may begin your round any time after 11 a.m. CDT with a minimum of three players regardless of division. All players must check in before beginning their round.

The address for Kesling Park is A Street, but the disc golf course is located at the north edge of the park off of 18th Street. You can get to 18th Street via A Street from the west or Crescent Drive from the east. Tournament Central will be located at the park entrance on 18th Street.

ABOUT
This is a PDGA C-Tier Flex event. The low registration fee is to encourage participation and show LaPorte County it needs an 18-hole permanent course.

You may form your own group once all card mates have checked in and begin your round. If you do not have a card the tournament director will help place you in a group. You may play in groups of three or four players. You may mix divisions within your group. You must be registered for the event to play in a group. Play MUST be completed by 8:30 p.m.

Kesling Park has nine permanent baskets. We will be adding nine temporary baskets for this event. The course will be set up by 10 a.m. CDT for practice rounds.

SIDE GAMES
Optional Ace Fund and 50/50 Cash CTP.

DIVISIONS
The tournament director reserves the right to combine divisions of less than three players. The TD will also open a requested division with a minimum of three players.

SCORING
All players must keep score. Digital is preferred. We will be using PDGA live scoring for this event.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
No cashless registration. Must pre-register before 6 p.m CDT on the day of the event. All players are responsible for any gate fees that may be in effect. Check back periodically for updates.

PLAYER PACKAGES
All amateur players will receive a small player package.

PAYOUT
Cash payout to professional players.
Amateurs will receive a small player package and trophies for first place in all qualifying divisions.

RATINGS
You may play "up" but you may not play "down" a division. Player rating classifications will be strictly enforced. You will be moved to the appropriate division should your November rating affect your division registration at the time. Please contact the TD with any questions.

On behalf of Brian Cummings and myself, I’d like to thank all of those who were able to join us at Kesling Park in LaPorte on Tuesday. Huge support from Duneland DGC, Red Roc DGC and Saint Joseph Valley DGC. After a few hours of severe weather, the skies cleared, welcoming 52 disc golfers.

The TD report will be finalized and submitted to the PDGA by Friday.

There are no playoffs for first place at a flex event if all tied players are not present. Therefore, Mike and Anthony will both be credited with a PDGA win. The same is true for Ref, Kameron and Blake. As a matter of record, Mike was presented with the trophy for MA3 since he was present at the end of the night. Ref was awarded the trophy for MA4.

MPO, MP40 and 50/50 CTP winner will receive payout via PayPal.

Brian is coming to Big Bang Boom next week, when I will give him the trophies and CTP prizes for the players from the Central Time Zone. You can get them from him or you could come to Goshen for the tournament on July 4th at Black Squirrel Golf Course. :)

Anthony, Matthew and Joel should expect to hear from me as we look for a time to meet.
