Hey everyone, at long last, the 2013 LCM Ice Bowl registration page is open. Go to KSULCM.ORG to check it out. The tournament date is Saturday, February 23rd. The entry fee is $15 for Students, $20 for others. We will no longer receive food items for registration. Instead, players may collect pledges to earn incentive gifts--minis, t-shirts and discs. The top three fundraisers will receive special prize packages. Please download a PLEDGE FORM at the 2013 LCM Ice Bowl information page at KSULCM.ORG, and get started right away!

Just wanted to say a quick ThankYou to everyone who planned, sponsored, organized, volunteered, played, and cheered us on! We had over 50 players, plus a few who pre-registered, but did not come today! Lot's of cash and canned goods to sort and count, and I'll post that in the next few days along with the official results! Hopefully we will have a nice donation for the Flint Hills Bread Basket!

Great time out there. Loved the turn out and the fact that we added a couple more to our league. Thanks Rev. Kev.

Temp baskets will not be up until Saturday late morning...
Dimond Cutter February 4, 2012 at 12:58am
are the temp baskets up yet?
Adam Johnson February 3, 2012 at 9:57pm
Maybe it will be cold enough that the mud will be closer to ice... ofcourse that probably a whole different problem. Anyway I can't wait till tomorrow.
Kevin Zane February 3, 2012 at 9:40pm
Yes, a very good cause indeed: and I will be there regardless of conditions... Big thanks to Rev Kev and all of his volunteers. I can't wait to see how this all comes together.
Rick Petrie February 3, 2012 at 4:50pm
Zane, you are right. Muddy tee box conditions are not desirable. I was speaking more of ice/snow conditions if we could get that.
Either way, still a good cause. Thanks again to Rev Kev for pulling this together!
Kevin Zane February 3, 2012 at 10:59am
ughhhh...the "tees" at Fairmont turn into slippery mud trenches when they are wet. I don't mind getting cold and wet or playing the wind, but if the wetness could just hold off for safety's sake I would be forever grateful.

IS IT SATURDAY YET? To be honest, I can't wait to battle the weather for such a great cause. Call me a sicko, but I've been looking forward to a nasty weather round for a while now... What better time for it than at an Ice Bowl!
Robert Adams February 3, 2012 at 9:12am
Weather forecast for Saturday: 39H, 30L, 50% Chance of snow/rain, wind from the north at 20+mph...awesome...I'm getting the whining out of the way now so I can support the motto the day of.

Why are some registerd players not linked to the Disc Golf Scene profile?
Jon Tveite February 3, 2012 at 12:48am
I was afraid the event would have to be cancelled for lack of ice! You don't want to be guilty of false advertising, after all....
Kevin RevKev Clark February 3, 2012 at 12:27am
45 Players now Pre-Registered, 28 of those have Pre-Paid
Looks like we might actually have some ice for the Ice Bowl!
Kevin RevKev Clark February 1, 2012 at 11:58pm
Richard and Zane, I would appreciate if you would bring your baskets. We may not need them, but last year I thought I had extras, and we were still 1 basket short until 10 minutes to tee time! I did not need the stress!
Thanks for helping out!
