You might want to check again in the morning. There is still two age protected spots that I'm guessing will open.

Friday night, you will either promoted or refunded.

Alex Barber    March 28 at 8:45pm

Everyone, the course currently in the configuration we will be playing. I will send out the official layout in an email, but I wanted to get the information out for anyone planning to make a practice round this weekend. Hole 6 we will be playing the basket short of the creek, hole 14B everyone will play the short pad. Hole 1 double mando, Hole 6 mando right of marked tree, Hole 8 mando right of marked tree, Hole 10 has two marked mando trees, hole 11 mando left of marked tree, hole 16 mando righ ... more

With the two downed trees, Hole 2 & 5, will we still be playing these considering one blocks half of the tee pad and the other considerably impacts the desired landing area.

Alex Barber   April 5 at 9:01pm

Noel, yes we are still playing holes 2 and 5, since we have a full tournament we need every hole. Both holes are still playable, I'm sorry that the parks didn't get the trees taken care of in time

Any female divisions being offered??

Alex Barber   March 25 at 7:15pm

Karen they absolutely were being offered. We are currently at a point where we only have openings on partial cards. We ended up with no female participation because of Women's Slosh event on the same weekend. I'm really sorry that it filled this way but please know we absolutely look forward to having larger female divisions at our future events, and it will always be offered!

Karen Redalen   March 25 at 8:34pm

Thanks for clarifying, I was searching and found the women's event and signed up for that one instead.

Alex Barber   March 28 at 2:33am

Glad you got in there! Sorry we missed you!

If spots do not get filled will they get converted to people on the waitlist?

Any word on assessment here? I just signed up, third on the MA3 waitlist. Would it behove me to just show up day of and see what happens?

Noah Kuhl   March 31 at 2:16am

Josh, at this point. The only way to get in is if someone drops out in your division. We usually don't have no shows day of. You will know if you are in or not by Friday night.

Josh Francisco   April 1 at 1:51am

If anything, I’ll play MA2 as well if those open up.

Allen Heinly    March 21 at 5:36am

I want to signup for myself in ma2 and fa1 for my daughter, tourney shows as not full, but there is a waitlist and no fa1 or availability in ma2...confused.

Sorry to hear it Gary. I won't signup if my daughter is on a waitlist though and still no TD response. Guess we will move on. Cheers.

Noah Kuhl   March 22 at 4:16pm

Allen, we have division caps set in place because divisions are playing different tee pads. Yes, the tournament is not full. But Ma-2 is, so the wait list is the only option.

Allen Heinly   March 23 at 2:10am

Looks like you can't even signup for fa1...thx anyway.

Taylor Wagner    March 18 at 8:33pm

Any idea on the layout for MA3/MA2?

Noah Kuhl   March 18 at 8:44pm

Everyone is playing the standard 22 hole layout. The only thing that changes is which pad you tee off of, which I mentioned below.

Alex Barber   March 18 at 8:45pm

Long pads for the most part, I've heard of some recent tree damage that I need to go assess before making a final decision.

Taylor Wagner   March 18 at 9:35pm

Sounds good. Sorry, by layout, I meant which tee pads (my bad). I will assume the longs. Thank you both for the responses.

Steven Soderberg    March 2 at 8:22am

Do MA 60 play long or short tees?

Garry Hanley   March 15 at 8:47pm

Hey Noah, just want to double check- MA60 plays the short tees in this tournament. I’ll be playing down there over the next couple weeks and want to make sure I’m playing the correct tees. Thanks.

Noah Kuhl   March 15 at 8:54pm

Yes, amateur age protected, juniors, and females are playing all short pads both rounds.

Garry Hanley   March 16 at 2:28am

Thanks for the reply.

Morgan Hay    February 26 at 7:21pm

Hey All,
I want to sign my daughter(12) up for her first tournament and wanted some details...
Will an adult be walking the course with the kids? Does the competitiveness remain pretty mellow in that division?
Thanks for any and all info!

My thoughts on this. I haven't been able to find a good scene for junior disc golf. Most tournaments aren't catered to have juniors. And those that do have a junior division you get very few signed up to play and they will just get mixed in to play against the adults due to numbers. I ... more

Alex Barber   February 27 at 6:00pm

Morgan, players in <= 12 bracket, or under 13 years old must be accompanied by a parent during tournaments. A lot of times tournaments don't get a full card of juniors, so your daughter would likely be on a card with the closest division playing the same layout as her, likely this would be the FA3 or FA2 groups. Kuhl Discs encourages everyone to participate that wants to!

Morgan Hay   February 27 at 10:14pm

We're all signed up - thank you!
