King of the North Info: Tee times can be found on the pdga event page for tomorrow. We’ll go over ground rules and answer any questions before your group tees tomorrow. All Ams, please grab your player pack before you tee off. All players are required to keep score. The PDGA live scoring password is “north”. Only MPo, mp40 and ma1 will play long tees tomorrow. All other divisions will play short tees when available. There are no short tees on A,B,C,9 and 10. Short tees are all marked with an orange flag. We have drop zones on the course on the holes where lost discs are more likely. If you are to lose a disc off the tee on one of these holes, you may proceed to drop zone rather than re teeing. Please arrive at least 10 mins before tee time and bring some overstable discs because it’s supposed to be windy this weekend!!!

Giants Ridge info: The construction crews are going to be moving at the bottom of the hill and the first few holes, so please let them pass before throwing when practicing or playing the flex C Tier today. We’ll have the mountain to ourselves all weekend though ???? We’ll be set up for player packs by noon in our new building. The South Chalet. Drive safe everyone!

King of the North update. We will NOT be using the building for tournament central that we have the last 6 years. The entire, old parking lot is a construction site right now, so Giants Ridge gave us a new building that’s pictured here, the South Chalet. It is located directly next to old Hole C’s teepad and fairway. All tournament players may now park in the paved lots near the chalets and restaurants. So, this means that our starting hole will be old hole C. We will start with C, then play 1-18 and finish with old hole A and B. 21 holes total like we always have. We have a nice deck overlooking the first and last hole, and there are nice bathrooms in this building as well. This won’t be a permanent home, but a darn good temporary one for us ???? The only condition was that we can’t be in the building after 430pm tomorrow because of a wedding rehearsal in there. So, AM player check in and grabbing of players packs is only til 430pm instead of 5 as scheduled. If you don’t grab player pack on Friday, no worries at all. You may before your round on Saturday. I’ll have tee times up later tonight!

King of the Noooorth week is finally here!! The autumn colors should be near full peak this weekend.. Can’t wait to be with you all in the northland. We’re still processing some additions and drops but we’ll have tee times available by Thursday. The teeing order will be age protected divisions first, followed by A2, A1 and then Open Pro divisions last for both days. We have our flex start C tier on Friday from noon-5pm for start times!! The course has been closed all year for construction, and Friday will be the first day it’s open for play. Owen is working hard this week to get it all looking good for us. They started mowing a couple of weeks ago. The only potential change this year is we may have a new tournament central building because they are using our parking lot by hole A for the construction equipment. We may be starting at hole C, in that building instead. But we’ll know more by tomorrow.
