I'd like to thank the 76 people that made it to Kensington this past Saturday for the first Kent Lake Classic. A big thanks to Joe Phipps for helping everything run smooth.
We finally had a typical February day with Temperatures around freezing. I think the 25mph winds also helped keep the casuals to a minimum.

I'd like to thank the 76 people that made it to Kensington this past Saturday for the first Kent Lake Classic. A big thanks to Joe Phipps for helping everything run smooth.
We finally had a typical February day with Temperatures around freezing. I think the 25mph winds also helped keep the casuals to a minimum.
Bryan Murphy won open division. the other division winners were Krystal Fromm, Tim Weimer, Andrew Przytulski, James Mayes, Dexter Hulik, Tara St. Aubin, Brian Goodmurphy, John Langston.
Andrew Kaluk hit the only ace for the day winning $295 which also happen the be the 50/50 hole which was worth another $130.
We had 6 am division CTP's out on the course the second round. AM1 hole 15 Matt Clark, AM women hole 14 Audrey Lavalley, AM master Joe Levell, AM4 Jacob Smith. the ones for am2 and am3 never came back in, I think Josh Waddell won the am3 CTp, and if anyone knows who won the am2 CTP let me know, there is a disc waiting for them.

All the scores are posted on DGS and the PDGA sites, I have also posted the top hole-by-hole scores for Open each round.

Round 1 - 22 holes (1-21 & 27)
Open Divisions, AM1, and AM2 long tees.
all other divisions short tees

Round 2 - 20 holes (1-5 & 13-27)
Open Divisions and AM1 long tees

I quickly posted the scores up on the PDGA site before heading off to work, I know there are a couple corrections needed, and I will get to them tomorrow when I post score on DGS

Weather is looking like Mid 30s tomorrow (Great Normal February weather)

There is still 7 people on the wait list, so please let me know if your not planning on coming tomorrow so they know there in today.

typically 5-10 people will unreg tonight, or not show in the morning, so i would say there is a really good chance you'll get in if your on the wait list and come out in the morning

I also want to remind everyone that is not local, the Metro parks require a daily ($10) or annual ($35) car pass, which you can purchace at the tollbooth or park office. Plus Metropark Disc Golf Courses are pay-to-play ($3) and the park will have someone at the course in the morning collecting money.
