Welcome to the KP Sumer Sling 2022. I am your Tournament Director: PK. Thank you for coming. If you need to reach me, I am available at 651-252-5960.
Tee times have been posted. Check the pdga event page for your tee time. https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/58272

Please arrive at your course at least 15 minutes before your tee time. Upon arrival, please check in at Tournament Central at your course (KP: Near Pro Shop. FCB: Near Church, Garlough: Parking lot near 1) to pick up your players pack. Then, arrive at hole 1 ten minutes before your tee time for a short players meeting.

The practice area (KP) is closed due to it being part of the course. Do not warm up on the course. Please warm up on the softball field. There will be a practice basket there.
PDGA scoring will be used as our official scoring method. Two players on each card will need to log in to http://www.pdga.com/score to run the digital scorecard. Dual PDGA scoring will help prevent any scoring errors and will alert you if there is a discrepancy between scorecards.

Reminder, there are penalty strokes issued if your score is mis-reported, and PDGA scoring can flag/prevent these errors. The access code is “sling”. Spectators may follow along at http://www.pdga.com/live

All Main Pool divisions will play the special KP Summer Sling 2022 layout. There will be a sign on every tee pad with the correct tee number. Please review the Caddy Book to see hole-by-hole instructions. Please see DGScene for course/layout assignments. If you are in the “Purple” pool - you will be playing the purple tee-boards, twice around. The Caddy Books are here:

The Caddy Books contain general O.B., hole distances, pars, and notes. Please familiarize yourself with the layout. Remember, the sidewalk, road, parking lot, and curb is out of bounds. The Caddy Books are viewable on the links above, or from the tournaments page on www.KPLeagues.com/tournaments

The stream (KP) in the gorge, and any other puddles or streams play as “Casual O.B.”. To obtain relief from a casual area, the player's lie may be relocated to the nearest lie which is farther from the target and is on the line of play, at the nearest point that provides relief. The pond on Scanny Skip/Kap-O-See-Ya is also O.B.. For your disc to be O.B., it must be completely surrounded by O.B.. Please see casual relief rules here:

If there is a disagreement on your card related to the correct lie to play, or any other rules, and I am not available for clarification, please play a provisional shot and we can resolve the disagreement after the round. Do not submit the PDGA digital scorecard until you have spoken with me and determined the correct outcome. Please see “Provisional Throw”

Caddies and spectators are allowed, but I want to remind everyone that they must follow all PDGA rules. Everyone should also review and understand what qualifies as “Player Misconduct”

Results and payouts will be posted to DGScene following the event. 1st place winners in all divisions can pick up their 1st place shirt from the Kaposia Pro Shop following the event. $5 and $10 ace pools are for KP only. If you paid in - but are at a non-Kaposia division, please let me know and i can refund your ace pool entries. If you did not buy in - and you want to, please head over to DGScene and buy in BEFORE the event.
