The KC Disc Golf Divas and Kansas City Disc Golf are excited to host the 2021 KC Diva Spring Feeva. This women's only tournament will be 2 rounds on Saturday May 8th at Rosedale Disc Golf Course in Kansas City KS.
We will be capping this event at 90 players, erring on the side of caution due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Be sure to register early as this event will fill!
We have made all female divisions available however if there are less than 2 in a division on day of event, we will combine players into an appropriate division. For example, FA55 will be combined with FA50.
Juniors, Novice and Recreational divisions are trophy only.
CADDIES:
Caddies are allowed this year but the event will not be able to provide them. We have added a Caddie option on the Disc Golf Scene registration page. $15 gets you an event T-shirt, Custom caddie tag, 1 raffle ticket, & more swag TBA. Also note that caddies will need to submit our COVID waiver as competitors do.
Additional events this weekend supporting KC Diva Feeva and Heartland Women's Series:
Friday May 7th: Launchpad Doubles at Rosedale (men & women)
All competitors, volunteers and caddies of the KC Diva Spring Feeva must complete the Kansas City Disc Golf Clubs COVID waiver form for our insurance purposes. Please go to https://kcdiscgolf.org/waiver-form/ to read and complete the form.
About the PDGA Women's Global Event: https://www.pdga.com/women/global-event
This biennial event continues to break records as the largest PDGA event for a single demographic within the sport of disc golf. In 2018 there were 80 registered tournaments, spanning 39 states and 14 countries with a combined turnout of 2092 women competing in 23 different PDGA divisions. We can break that record again in 2021! On May 8th and 9th, women from all around the world will play two rounds of disc golf at their local participating PDGA Women's Global Event. Scores from the first two rounds of each participating tournament will be submitted by the individual tournament directors and rated by the PDGA. These round ratings will be totaled and averaged to determine the player's "Global Score." For the rounds to qualify, the event must include two rounds and have at least three ratings propagators playing on the same course layout each round for ratings to be calculated as accurately as possible. Please note, the exact same course layout must be used for both rounds. The Global Scores will be updated throughout the day to determine our PDGA Women’s Global Event Champions and the winner in each division will receive a memorable trophy. less
