This email/post will provide information about the event and substitute for a formal player meeting. If anyone has questions, please ask before you tee off. This message has a rough course map and course rules. The course layout is two groups of 9 holes, 3 through 12 (SKIP Eight), and 1, old 12 (A), 13, Lookout Point (B), 14-18. The holes are numbered on the scorecards as they are on the course. Look for Blue signs, except holes A and B (those are 2 and 8 turned around; you can see white boards but no letters).

COVID-19 REMINDER:
If you have had close contact with someone who has COVID-19 please do not come to this event. Monitor yourself for symptoms for 14 days after the last day you were exposed to protect your health and those around you. The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, cough, and shortness of breath. Other symptoms may include: muscle aches, fatigue, sore throat, chills, headache, runny nose, abdominal pain/discomfort, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. If you are 65 or older or have a medical condition (such as heart, lung, or liver disease, diabetes or cancer), or are on kidney dialysis, and you have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19—call your doctor.
We want to make sure you are all well aware that your personal accountability, honesty, and attention is required in order for you to safely participate in the event If this event is to take place and proceed in the safest manner possible, participants need to and follow these safety measures. We are asking anyone who shows any symptoms associated with COVID-19 or other sickness not to play the tournament. This is for your own safety, the safety of competitors, and me!

GROUPING:
Groups will be mixed and assigned (if you have not created your own) as people show up to the course. This is a flex start event, starting on hole 1 of the championship course. Groups can be 3, 4 or 5 players. Players can tee off as early as 8:30 (or as soon as I get there) and as late as 1:00. I recommend trying to start as early as possible to avoid possible inclement weather.
SCORECARDS:
We will be using the PDGA Digital Scorecard as the Official Scorecard. The link is PDGA.com/Score. The access code will be available at the event. A paper scorecard will be provided to each group, along with the rules. Please reconcile or check your scores and remember to submit them on line. YOU MUST KEEP TWO SETS OF SCORES AND RECONCILE THEM AT THE END. The second scorecard may be paper or digital (i.e. uDisc).
TOURNAMENT CENTRAL/BATHROOMS:
Tournament Central and two porta-potties that will be available near Hole 1.
WATER:
Water will be available on the course, but in limited supplies. Please bring your own water.
PDGA RULES:

If you throw Hole 8, THAT IS A MISPLAY. Play hole 9 and give yourself two penalty throws.
RESULTS:
Results will be posted on the event Disc Golf Scene page.
Amateur payouts will be through Dynamic Discs - Kansas City, Maverick Disc Golf, or Truly Unique Disc Golf – pick one on entry or pick one at check-in.
Professional payouts are through PayPal, unless you prefer a check. I can do that too.

Mandatory RIGHT of marked tree. The restricted airspace is to the left of the marked tree. If your disc enters the restricted airspace, proceed to DZ with one throw penalty. See PDGA rule 804.01.
Hole is on a peninsula. OB surrounds the entire hole. Regular OB rules apply. NO DROP ZONE.
* The road plays as a river. Curbs/road/islands in between tee area and basket area are OB. Hazard area to right under trees has free relief (drop zone).
