I’m happy to announce that the 2nd Annual Josie’s Journey Open raised $4,000 for Project Sweet Peas-North Alabama! Can’t thank you all enough for all of the support! This was a total team effort and literally wouldn’t have been possible without the help from many people!See you next November for #3!

Thanks to everyone who was apart of the 2nd Annual Josie’s Journey Open today! It was a chilly start, but couldn’t have asked for a better day. We were able to exceed our donation goal, but won’t have an exact total donation for Project Sweet Peas until after doubles tomorrow. Players, sponsors, volunteers, everyone, THANK YOU!

Tomorrow Sunday November 10th we will be playing random draw doubles at David Crockett State Park! 12:00 sign-ups; 1:00 start! 10 entry with $5 of that going to Project Sweet Peas plus optional ace-pots and cash CTP’s as well! Last chance to play the amazing David Crockett temp course! It will be pulled concluding the round. Come hang as we close out the Josie’s Journey Open Weekend!

Tournament central for check-in and round 1 will be at David Crockett State Park and will be set up in the parking lot across from the park restaurant. Once you turn into the park simply continue straight and you will see us. Please park as close as you can to the pool end side of the parking lot. The speed limit inside the park 25mph and is STRICTLY ENFORCED! Please be aware as you drive into the park! Let’s make a great first impression in hopes of more opportunities to utilize this park ... more

Thanks to all who have registered so far! We are officially out of player packs on the amateur side, but we do have some spots remaining! $20 gets you in for this Saturday’s PDGA C-Tier charity event!

Hey looks like some stuff is going to come up on Saturday unfortunately. Have a friend with a terminal illness. I would really like the players pack and I will pay shipping to get it to me. I would also love for my entry to stay with your cause.

The temp course is now set up and available for practice! The course starts at the parking lot across from the restaurant within Davy Crockett State Park. Thanks!

Player packs for the 2nd Annual Josie's Journey Open have been ordered! S-Line DD3's, C-Line FD's, C-Line MD3's, and D-Line P2's will be your choices available at check-in for those who get a pack! I did order a few extra's and only 11 remain unclaimed, so the next 11 amateur registrants will still receive a pack! After all player pack's have been spoken for, we will offer a $20 registration to play until we reach 72 players!

Please make plans to join us on November 9th for some disc golf and fellowship as we help a very worthy cause!

1. Cut-off to guarantee your players pack is Monday, October 28th, by 10:00AM CST! I will be making the order with Chris from Discmania at that time so be sure to sign up beforehand to make sure to secure that! If you miss that deadline, I may be ordering a few extras, but it won't be very many. In the event we run out of player's packs, we will offer a disco ... more

2. The temp course at Davy Crockett State Park will be available to play for practice before November 9th! Once we know for sure what dates the course will be open, we will let you know!

3. On that Sunday, November 10th, we are running a random draw partner doubles event at Davy Crockett on the temp course! Half of the entry fee will go towards payout, while the other half will be donated to the donation fund for Project Sweet Peas! You can find more details on that on the flyer located in the "pictures" tab above!
