About this tournament

YES, MARCH 4th REALLY IS MY BIRTHDAY.

Jason's Birthday Bash is a PDGA sanctioned XC-Tier rated singles tournament. Competitors will play two rounds at Ox Bow County Park disc golf sanctuary in Goshen, Indiana.

Jason's Birthday Bash is an approved PDGA Competition Endowment Program charity event. All tournament proceeds will be donated to the Elkhart County Parks Department for improvements to the Ox Bow County Park disc golf course. The first order of business is to replace some of the original baskets that have served the course for over 30 years.

FORMAT
Two rounds of 20-24 holes (four hole buffer in case weather affects the course). More holes will be added closer to the event if conditions allow.
MPO, MP40, MA1, MA2 and MA40 will play long tees both rounds.
All other divisions will play short tees on 4, 8, 12 and 13 both rounds.

PLAYER PACKAGE FOR ALL AMATEURS: Custom-stamped disc from Discraft.
CTP prizes on every division. Optional Ace Fund and 50/50 Cash CTP.

PAYOUTS - Trophy Only Fundraiser.
Pro Divisions - Cash payout in accordance with PDGA CEP requirements. Trophy for first place.
Amateur Divisions - Trophies for Top 3 in each division.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
There are only 80 spots available for this event. More may be added closer to the event should the course conditions permit.

The tournament director reserves the right to require a minimum of three players to form a division but may allow a division of less than three at their discretion. In the event a division does not have three players and the registered competitor does not want to play in another available division, a full refund will be provided.

Players may register for a division that is full and will be put on the waitlist. Check back periodically for updates in the event comments section.

RATINGS
You may play "up" but you may not play "down" a division. Player rating classifications will be strictly enforced. You will be moved to the appropriate division should your February rating affect your division registration at the time. Please contact the TD with any questions.

PLAN AHEAD
Daylight will be at a premium. Players should expect to be on their assigned tee for the start of the second round 60 minutes after the completion of the first round.

No cashless registration. No walk-ups. All players are responsible for any gate fees that may be in effect. Check back periodically for updates.

Refund policy

Maple City Disc Golfers is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.

Players who officially request to withdraw prior to February 4, 2023 will receive a 100% cash refund minus a $10 handling fee.

Players who officially request to withdraw between February 5 and February 23, 2023 will receive a 100% cash refund minus a $10 handling fee ONLY if their spot can be filled from the waitlist. If the player's spot is NOT filled through the waitlist the player will receive a 50% cash refund.

Players who officially request to withdraw from the event between February 24 and March 3, 2023 will receive a 100% cash refund minus a $10 fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through the waitlist. If the player's spot is NOT filled, we will provide a 25% cash refund.

Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from playing in the event, do not show up for the event, or try to withdraw after March 3, 2023 (which is our drop date) forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player pack. Round times and divisions are set using the registration list as of this date, so there are no exceptions to this rule. If you have questions please contact the tournament director.
