Just want to let everyone know that we may be dealing with some interesting conditions at the course.
The City of Fountain has let me know that they have gotten a ton of rain and so the course is going to be muddy in places, and Bogey Lake is completely full of water. I may need to do a last minute postponement if it turns out the course is unplayable. Sorry but please keep an eye on your emails or DGS.
It is recommended to bring a pair of shoes and not bring a cart.
Parking : Please be sure to only park on the park side of the street (west side). Once you are checked in, you can drive closer to your starting hole so you dont have to walk as far. Please do not park on the house side of the street (east side).
Players packs: Those of you that signed up before August had jerseys made and shipped to me so you will be able to get those at the event. If you signed up during August, then I will need to get your jersey to you at a later time.
Check in will be from 7:30 to 8:30 near the playground at hole 1. Once you are checked in, you can head to your starting hole. The round will start at 8:45am and you may not be able to hear the call for start, so please plan on starting when your phones say 845.
Scoring will be done using the PDGA app or PDGA.com/Scores
Please do not log in until you get to your starting hole as cards may change.
Lunch will be one hour after last card has been submitted. I will send out an email with starting holes and starting time. That is when you need to be back to your starting hole.
Post round 2, we will have a small ceremony and issue out the bag tag trophies.
Projected layout:
Hole 1 - MA divisions will tee off from the Orange Flags across the water to hole 1's basket. FA divisions will tee off from the temp tee to ones basket. Flag line and beyond left is OB for all divisions.
Hole 2 - play as normal
Hole 3 - Play as normal
Hole 4 - Flag line and beyond is OB, rocks are optional casual relief. (Can play it where it lies or take it back along the line of play at first available spot out of rocks) Let hole 16 tee off first, then you tee off.
Hole 5 - Island hole, must land in the island to be safe. All shots out of the island are hazard and play where lies with one stroke penalty.
Hole 6 - Mando left of first marked tree, then mando right of second marked tree. If you miss the 1st mando, re tee with one stroke penalty. If you miss the 2nd mando, proceed to drop zone with one stroke penalty.
Hole 7 - tee off from 7s pad to 8s basket. Flag line right and beyond OB
Hole 9 - Mando between the two trees
Hole 10 - play as normal
Hole 11 - play as normal
Hole 12 - play as normal
Hole 13 - play as normal
Hole 14 - Must land in flagged area to be safe. All outside of flagged areas are hazard and play where lies with one stroke penalty.
Hole 15 - Play as normal
Hole 16 - Flag line and beyond OB, tee off first then let hole 4 tee off after. Optional casual relief from rocks (either play it where it lies, or take it back along the line of play to first available spot out of rocks)
Hole 17 - Play as normal
Hole 18 - Double island hole. Must land in the flagged area to be safe. All outside of flagged areas are hazard and players will play it where it lies with one stroke penalty.
Hole 19 - Temp tee near hole 1s tee box throwing at playground area. Basket will be on top of a picnic table. Sidewalk and beyond is OB. If you land under the picnic table you may take relief behind your lie in the line of play to the first available safe spot.

Hey Josh, do you know if the course has gotten any better or worse? I need to book a campsite for tomorrow night but hate to do it if it’s likely we will have a postponement.
