Announcing the winners doubles for the Ironwood Open this weekend! Instead of a Final 9 this year, the top 3 open players, winning masters, woman, and intermediate player, and top 2 advanced players will team up in doubles for a 6 hole "skins" match.

The teams will be as follows:
MPO.1-FPO.1
MPO.2-MA2.1
MPO.3-MA1.1
MPM.1-MA1.2

The match will take place 30 minutes after the last card comes in on Sunday. This will not be a typical skins match, but will instead pay out each team that scores the lowest on a hole. Each hole will be worth a total of $48.

For example, if 1 team gets a 2 on a hole while all other teams get a 3, that team will split $48. If two teams tie with the lowest score, each team will split $24. $16 if 3 teams tie, and $12 per team if all four teams score the same.

Please join us for the final 6 holes and root on the doubles for a chance to see some amazing shots without the stress of the tournament setting!

There are still 3 Am. spots available, so if you want to get in, you still have a chance. Registration will close Tomorrow evening at 8pm, so please be sure to sign up before then if you are still on the fence.

I've linked the course rules in the pictures section and will have copies available at the course for all of the groups.

Be sure to join us Saturday evening at North Country Brewery from 6-8pm for our player's social. Appetizers will be provided by Grip It and Rip It! Also join us after the 3rd round on Sunday at the ski lodge at Slippery Rock for lunch sponsored again by Grip It and Rip It and beverages provided by North Country Brewery.

This years boot dryer is going to be amazing I've wanted one for so long. More tournaments need to be creative with their player packs. Keep being awesome!

I will be ordering the player packs for the Ironwood Open on this Friday, so if you are planning on attending, please sign up by then. Every amateur will receive a PEET Original Boot Dryer and two half size Trotter disc storage boxes! I will order a couple of extra packs for those not registered by Friday, but once they are gone, the tournament will be sold out. In addition, the PDGA refund rules will be in effect after this Friday as the player packs will have been ordered. If you are planning on withdrawing, please let me know by this Friday.
