Announcing the winners doubles for the Ironwood Open this weekend! Instead of a Final 9 this year, the top 3 open players, winning masters, woman, and intermediate player, and top 2 advanced players will team up in doubles for a 6 hole "skins" match.
The teams will be as follows:
MPO.1-FPO.1
MPO.2-MA2.1
MPO.3-MA1.1
MPM.1-MA1.2
The match will take place 30 minutes after the last card comes in on Sunday. This will not be a typical skins match, but will instead pay out each team that scores the lowest on a hole. Each hole will be worth a total of $48.
For example, if 1 team gets a 2 on a hole while all other teams get a 3, that team will split $48. If two teams tie with the lowest score, each team will split $24. $16 if 3 teams tie, and $12 per team if all four teams score the same.
