Good morning everyone!

I wanted to give an update. I am sitting at the gate of Boundary Waters. I was just informed that Darren sent an email to the parks and rec to have the gate open no later than 7.  At the moment I still plan to try to tee off at 8. 

With that in mind if I don’t get in there until 7 it’ll take a moment for me to set everything up. Obviously, this isn’t how I like to start things off. I just wanted everyone who may be rushing to get here to have an update. I’ll send out another email as soon as it’s open.

I have some OB questions. For roads: is it only OB if completely on pavement or will BW1 play as on or across pavement? For water: imagine the disc lands on a pile of leaves in a ditch. Under the leaves is water but because the ditch is full of leaves the disc is not submerged. Is this OB? If no, are players allowed relief from the water? It's a real thing on BW2 I swear!

This is your tournament director Callie McMorran. In this email you will find the course layout, link to the hole assignments, link to live scoring and more.

First, I want to thank you all for participating in this event!

Course Layout:

Please note that I haven't arrived in town yet. I have used UDisc to create the live scoring layout. If you're looking for a caddy book all you will really need to know about these two courses is that any and all water, concrete, black top, football fields and playgrounds will play as out of bounds. If you look at UDisc it will give you a really great caddy book for this event. These courses are very easy to follow. However, if you still have questions please let me know. I'm here to help!

Hole assignments:

Here is the link to your hole assignment, if this is your first PDGA Tournament please note that your hole assignment can change before the event starts. ( I still have people dropping out/signing up). Also, note that your hole assignment will likely change for round 2, round 2 placement is based on score. When you click on the link scroll down to your name, by your name will be a number under the "hole" column. This is the hole you will be starting at.

Check-in:

Please arrive at the course with plenty of time to go through the check-in process. When you arrive you will need to come to the LARGE Innova camper near hole one of both courses and grab your players pack and check in. If you haven't played in one of my events before please note that I have A LOT of products to look through. So please allow yourself time to get what you want. Check-in starts at 7:00 AM and goes until 7:30. Players meeting will be at 8:40. We will be teeing off at 8:00 AM! For those of you that start on BW1 keep an eye on your starting hole it may be easier to move your car closer to your starting point. I did my best to keep people on holes that are closer to the camper to start. If you're playing BW2 first you shouldn't have any trouble getting to your starting hole.

Live Scoring:

Here is the link to the live scoring website. On every card two players will be required to keep score through this website. Yes, I said two. The PDGA has just changed the website so that two players can keep score at the same time. This allows the website to check for errors as you play your round.

Lunch:

Round two tee time will be one hour after the last card is turned in. For round two you will receive another email with tee time information. Your hole assignment will also be accessed through the link above. There will NOT be lunch on site so please plan ahead.

Payout:

Projected Payout will be posted on the PDGA website and attached below. Please note that if you're in an amateur field this is a merchandise payout amount. Pros receive cash (PayPal) pros do not need to stick around for payout unless they want to shop or potentially throw off for the ace pot. For the amateur divisions please note that you MUST grab the items for your winnings on Sunday once I am gone it is done. If you need to leave earlier, have a buddy grab your items for you! Payout will happen as soon as your divisions come in to get people in and out. We have to beat the sun!
