Hello everyone and welcome to the virtual players meeting for the Ice Burrrg open 20201!
I am your tournament director for the event, Joshua Siwek.
Check-in starts at 7:30 am on Saturday and I will be to the park before that to ensure it’s open. Please come see me in the pavilion when you arrive so I can check you in. If you do not check in, you will not be put on a card.

Will 5,6,13 be played from the "short pads" for the lower divisions?

MPO and MA1 Divisions will be playing all holes from the long pads. All other divisions will be playing short pads on holes 5, 6, & 13. I have updated the about page to reflect this.

We have a healthy wait list growing! If you do not plan to make it, please let us know ASAP so we can get you a full refund and get someone else in. Refunds will be given up to 1/21 (Thursday before). Full refunds will not be given *the day before (Friday) or day of* unless there is someone on the wait list to take your spot.

It will be heavily dependent on the weather at this time. Since the alternates do not have cement tee pads, they tend to get heavily impacted snow and ice on them which makes them dangerous at worst, and frustrating at best. I'll be keeping an eye on them but as of right now they are pure ice rinks and not suitable for play.

I have enabled the waitlist feature, sorry about that. You can now register for the waitlist. At this time I have no plans to add ABC to the layout to increase capacity, although that is not set in stone.

How will payouts be handled. Will we receive them through email or will we get them there that day?

We plan to have plastic on site for am payouts, and pro payouts will be done via paypal. Am payouts and merchandise will be separated in the pavilion and we will expect players to maintain social distance guidelines while perusing the bins

Hey Beno, we're not doing cashless for this one, trying to minimize in person cash transactions. Go ahead and sign up via DGS or DM me if you need anything else
When you say "fairly good shape", does that mean "not too much ice", or "an inch of snow", or small sasquatches behind every tree? Asking for a old "friend". Thanks!
They are clean and clear, having been shoveled after our last snowfall, but it was noted that some had some icy spots still. No frozen waves of footprints or sasquatches to be aware of :-)
I'm really glad you finally got those darn sasquatches out of there. They always leave a mess in the middle of the fairways
I know hole 3 had branch broke hanging at glow. Did that get taken down?
Yes, the branch that was down on 3 has been moved off the fairway
Welcome to the future guys haha! Anyway when we sign in on the live scoring app will we get hole assignments then or will that still be done in person?
When check in is over. cards will be assigned in the app! you don't have to talk to me at all other than to check in and then get your awards / payouts at the end :-)
