Over $300 in discs were lifted from the pro shop over the weekend. I'm ticked.

Do you have to pay for them ? Would love to help .this is total bull**** that someone would steal discs like that.

Arthur Piskozub   June 9, 2022 at 10:27pm

That’s really unfortunate to hear. I appreciated everything you did for this tournament. There were a lot of people going through the area once awards were announced. Hopefully the individuals will realize their mistakes and reach out to you.

I'm not looking for any financial help on this. Just venting.

Are there plans for additional spots for pools with opened slots for different divisions within the same pool?

Mike Krupicka   June 2, 2022 at 7:59pm

We are not mixing cards.

Louis Ohlendorf    June 2, 2022 at 4:02pm

Will I be able to have someone else check me in and pick up my players pack? I wont make it in time for the check in on Friday.

Mike Krupicka   June 2, 2022 at 7:58pm

The more that checkin Friday night the better for everyone. But you need to checkin yourself. If you do not checkin until Saturday morning, you can pick up your player pack after R1.

Louis Ohlendorf   June 3, 2022 at 1:38pm

Thank you!

Justin Schandelmeier    June 2, 2022 at 2:46pm

Being that there are spots open will the waitlist people get in?

Mike Krupicka   June 2, 2022 at 7:57pm

There spots open in specific divisions. We are not mixing cards.

Are all of the courses cart friendly? I've only played two of them previously and don't have room to bring both my bag and cart.

Mike Krupicka   May 26, 2022 at 7:39pm

Yes. All are cart friendly.

Dick England    May 26, 2022 at 7:04pm

I’m seeing the courses for the first time on Friday and need to practice East. I’m not playing the flex will I still be able to practice that course?

Mike Krupicka   May 26, 2022 at 7:11pm

Yes it will still be open for play.

Dick England   May 26, 2022 at 7:12pm

Thanks Mike

Realizing I signed up for MA3 waitlist instead of MA4 because I didn’t see there was an MA4. If I could get moved to MA4 that would be great

Please use the Contact tournament staff link and send us email so that we can track the request.

TJ Mueller    May 18, 2022 at 2:14pm

Just checking friday check in is optional? If we're coming from out of town we can check in saturday morning and then grab our player pack after R1?

Mike Krupicka   May 18, 2022 at 7:51pm

We would prefer as many players that can grab stuff Friday night do, but yes you can checkin Saturday morning and grab the player pack after R1.

Emma Arp    May 17, 2022 at 2:13pm

could you clarify the schedule for MPO/FPO courses. It’s 4 rounds but only 3 courses are listed for us? Thanks!

Mike Krupicka   May 17, 2022 at 2:36pm

FPO will be playing one course 2x. See the preliminary caddy book on our website: https://illinoisopenseries.com/2022-events/ios100/

Nathan Berillo    May 15, 2022 at 6:03pm

I recently was moved from the waitlist to MA2. I confirmed and payed, now just realizing I am unable to play that weekend. When I go to withdraw on DGS. It is only showing to refund the $5 from waitlist. I paid the full entry. Is there another way I can be removed and fully refunded? Thanks!!

Just put a note in the request and I’ll figure it out

Will people that are on the wait list for MA1 get in.

Mike Krupicka   May 10, 2022 at 1:58pm

I will be working on moving people around that rated out of their divisions tonight. Pretty sure a couple from the MA1 WL will get in after I do that.

Mike Krupicka    May 6, 2022 at 12:45am

Slight revision to the caddie book for West has been posted. Six of the holes will use the same positions for all divisions.

Are udisc layouts updated to match the changes?

Mike Krupicka   May 7, 2022 at 2:20am

I will message our volunteer taking care of Udisc to do that.

Katie Y    April 24, 2022 at 4:44pm

Are there still possibilities that WL people will get in for MA1? Is there a date we would know by?

Mike Krupicka   April 24, 2022 at 6:11pm

There are a couple spots in my back pocket in Pool B and C to account for players that may be bumped on the ratings update on May 10. I will insert them into the waitlist by registration date and then release those spots I have in reserve. If a waitlist player has an earlier reg date than the player being bumped, the waitlist player will have priority.

Mike Krupicka   April 24, 2022 at 6:13pm

There also still may be some attrition due to refund requests, but it is hard to say at this time. I'm pretty sure a couple more on the WL will be getting in.

Mike Krupicka   May 11, 2022 at 12:20am

WL for MA1 is down to 3

Tentative layouts are on Udisc.
East course holes 9, 11, 17 will be stacked baskets. Unsure when they will be stacked, but will be avilable before event.
Red layout will be lower basket and is playable.
Blue layout will be upper basket. Hole 15 should be moved April 25 or 26 and Blue layout will be playable at that time using current single basket.

Ingersoll, South and West courses have IOS pools listed in layout description.
East has pools listed in name.

Hey Mike, is it posted anywhere what layouts (longs or shorts) each division will play when on the east and west courses?

Mike Krupicka   April 21, 2022 at 10:33pm

I hope to have the caddy book posted before the weekend which will have all of that info.
