Good Morning!
This is your players meeting for the Sixth Hyzer Holiday event starting Tomorrow!!! There is NOT a requirement to check in tomorrow unless you have a question for your TD
You will play one round Sunday morning, and one round Monday morning, Shotgun starts at 9am.
Pool A:
MPO/FPO/MP40/FP40/MA1/FA1/MA40/FA40/MA50
Sunday: Bunker (Savannah Dunes) Monday: Coon Rapids
Pool B:
MA2/FA2/MA3/FA3/MA4/FA4/MJ12
Sunday: Coon Rapids Monday: Bunker (Savannah Dunes)
Any playoffs for first place will begin on hole 1 of Monday's course and will play in order until a winner is decided.
Anoka County Parks passes ARE required to enter Bunker Hills Park. If you do not have a season pass, you will be stopped at the gate and you will need to purchase one. Daily passes are $7 I believe; annual passes are $30/35.
Feel free to carpool from Walmart/Target in Andover if you wish, it's only a mile west of the North Park Entrance.
Pros will be paid out via paypal/venmo: Ams will be able to redeem their credit Monday at Bunker after their round where Jason and TwinTown will be set up near hole 1.
Weather
The forecast looks like theres a chance of rain all weekend; but thankfully it doesn't look like anything severe. We play if its wet; we stop if there is lightning in the area.
Scoring
Everyone must keep score in 2024. The easiest way is via the PDGA app. IF you don't want to use the app, you may use UDisc. If you don't want to use UDisc, we will have paper scorecards at hole one. If you don't use the PDGA App, you will need to hand your scorecard to your TD after your round/show them a pic of UDisc. If you use the PDGA app, and fail to submit your final score in a timely manner (30 minutes), you are subject to a 2 stroke penalty per the PDGA rules.
Keep score, hand it in, no problems.
Layouts
Both layouts will show up on the PDGA live app with appropriate par/distance and any OB rules. At Bunker we will be using the new full 18 hole layout. At Coon Rapids, we will play the full layout, holes 1-8; 10-19; A; then 21 and then 20. We are planning on moving baskets on 4, 7, 10, 12, and 19 this afternoon.
Tee times will be posted after registration closes tonight at 6pm; likely around 7:30/8pm.
