Huk For Independence Players!!!

We are a few days away from taking over all three courses at Horning's Hideout for the weekend for the Huk For Independence!

Here's what you need to know for the weekend (including course notes and OB rules!):
Please don't arrive before 8! Horning's opens at 8 and they appreciate us respecting their morning peace and quiet. Please pay for park use at the entrance to the Horning’s staff.

Please come to the players meeting so we can get the latest info out in case of any changes!

Scrip payout for Amateurs! (Rec and juniors are trophy only) You will receive a tournament stamped disc with art by Les White in your players pack, along with a tournament tee screen printed by Matthew Coll at Green Tee Printing, He also is the man behind USEL knee pads.

The remaining money from your pool after players pack, supplies and fees will go towards scrip payout for the top 45% of each division.

We also have some really awesome trophies for each division from Chadwick Warner at Wix sign Co!

Players packs will be given out during the Friday early check in or after either round on Saturday to try and keep the schedule on track for the weekend. Unless you need that disc to play in the tournament.

Pros will be paid out via PayPal, please make sure we have the appropriate PayPal address.

Horning’s has very minimal cell reception so we will be using paper scorecards for this event so please be patient while we count cards and re-organize the score boards. If you feel like helping we are always looking for help during the crazy times before and between rounds

If you are on the waitlist keep an eye out for an email from disc golf scene. We will only be adding people as players drop by division. Course constraints dictate that.

Few of the details
Camping arrival time is from 12pm-6pm so please try and make it in that window if coming Friday.
Saturday arrival opens at 8am
Camping is $10 per person per night in the group sites we have reserved on hole 14 (canyon) & 1 (meadow)
Day use fee ($5)is required for Sunday as we will be there later than the 12pm camping checkout time.
Camping is tight so get cozy and be friendly so we don’t ruin our invite for next year.
wood burning fires and Charcoal are NOT allowed
Propane fireplaces are allowed.
Make sure you have pets being cared for during your round.
They do have restrooms and showers that you can purchase shower tokens from Horning’s
WiFi is available to purchase
Meadow ridge is played on the Innova baskets not the traditional Horning’s baskets
Shotgun Start (when you hear the horn that’s the 2 min warning, then another horn to start)
