Hey all, if you were coming from up north anyways like we were (or don't mind the extra drive time) there is another valentines day dubs at Warrior's Path in Tennessee. We were sad when this got cancelled but happy to find a replacement. Hoping to help others out as well-- 7 team spots left!

Glad you guys found another event! Sorry we had to cancel this one. :(

It's understandable. We'll be back for the reschedule!

Is there a waitlist?

Yes. No one is on it right now so it looks like it doesn’t exist.

Since the first round is alternate how do we make sure both players tee off 9 holes? Are we alternating tee shots? Male hole 1, female hole 2 and so on? Then we alternate after that?
Sorry this is our first time doing a tourney like this.
Thanks in advance

We will have paper score cards to help keep track of who tees off on which hole. My favorite way to do it is to circle the score when the women tee off. Once you've determined whose tee shot you're taking on that hole you alternate for the remainder of the hole. We will also be utilizing UDisc Events to help keep score and allow us to see the leaderboard as we play.

Awesome! Thank you!

Since this is co-ed is it PDGA sanctioned? Just wondering if we’ll get a rating as a team.

Hi Shawn. That's definitely in the plans for next year, depending upon turnout for this year.

Is this tournament only for co-Ed teams or can they be of the same gender?

It's co-ed. My apologies that this wasn't made clear in the details. I will edit it right now to reflect that.

So I couldn’t bring my Boyfriend to the valentines dubs?

Vern Weygandt   December 29, 2020 at 10:46pm

That's correct. I weighed the importance of LGBT inclusion into this decision and after reviewing how other similar events address this issue, decided to list the event as strictly co-ed. I would recommend being on the lookout for "Bring Your Own Partner" events regularly hosted throu ... more
