Good afternoon Trilogy Challenge players,

I just wanted to thank all 43 of our players for signing up for our fourth Trilogy Challenge at Hinson Lake! I'm sure we will have several more sign-up, but I wanted to go ahead and get this sent out.

For Saturday morning our first tee time is set for 9:00 AM and tee times will run every 15-minutes for the remainder of the morning until 12:30. Jimmy McDonald and I will be set up in the parking lot adjacent to Hole 17 and 18 which can be accessed using the address of 139 Crow Run, Rockingham, NC 28379.

Tournament players packs will be FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, so if you are wanting a specific color, weight, etc of discs then this will be up to the player to decide when it is best for them to show up. If disc selection is not a big part of your experience then as the TD I would suggest that players arrive 15-30 minutes prior to their tee time to check in, receive players packs, and raffles if you won. Also, a big reminder that players are to only use the THREE discs from the players pack and no other discs during the round being played. There is no area at Hinson Lake to throw to warm up, but we will have several baskets set up near the check in area for players to warm up their putting skills prior to their round starting.

Raffles/Ace Pool:
There will be several raffles provided to players as they check in Saturday morning. ALL players are automatically put into the raffle, and have a chance to win.

The Ace Pot sits at $120 for Saturday. Any player that has not signed up for the ace pot can do so via PayPal, Venmo, or cash Saturday morning at check-in.

Scoring/Format:

As many have already noticed this will be a 1-Round Flex Start event that will utilize the 19-Hole Tournament layout at Hinson Lake. Scoring will be kept through UDisc where an event has been set up for live scoring through the entire morning. Every player should have their card info on their UDisc, but if not will be under the name “Hinson Lake 2025 Trilogy Challenge” in the events section.

Below are the OB an mando rules for the course for those who have not played Hinson Lake or are fairly new to the area:

Hole 1: Left of fairway, and beyond open space where basket is located. Marked by orange whisker markers.
Hole 4: On or Beyond Pathway. Marked by orange whisker markers. Mando marked on tree within the fairway. Proceed to drop zone.
Hole 11: Beyond basket. Marked by orange whisker markers.
Hole 13: OB in the tall grass on the right side of the fairway.
Hole 14: OB in the tall grass on the right side of the fairway.
Hole 16: On or beyond pathway
Hole 17: Short and in the creek. Go to Drop Zone.
Hole 18: Beyond the pathway into the lake. With a stroke penalty, play from location where disc crossed the pathway. Also, the rocks are designated as hazard area marked by orange paint. If you enter this area you will play from your lie with a one-stroke penalty.
Hole 19: Island green marked by white paint. Proceed to drop zone with 1-stroke penalty if OB.
