About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Never played 18 holes at Athens?? Well you are missing out!! This is a great course that gets overlooked as there are only 9 permanent holes. So to fix that, I bring in 9 more baskets and setting them up around the water and on top of the big hill and boom.... 18 permanent holes!!!
Last year we had great reviews on the additional nine holes so there will not be a lot of changes to those holes, but there may be a few shifts to make this better.
I will have a layout with the additional holes posted about two weeks before the event.
Last year we raised around $2000 for Troop 118 from this event from sponsorships and entry fees, lets beat that this year!!!
THIS IS A TRUE AMATEUR EVENT.
AM players packs:
A Discraft Elite Z plastic disc
A TeeShirt
Entry to several free CTPs
Ace pot included
Other goodies to go along with that
AM divisions winner prizes:
AM players are competing for trophies only along with some small prizes.
Depending on division size, spots winning trophies will range from one to three spots.
AM entry fee:
Minus the expenses for discs, shirts, PDGA fees, basket transportation, ace pot, prizes, 100% of your entry fee goes to the Boy Scouts Troop 118.
PRO divisions payout:
$10 for each player goes to Troop 118
$5 (max) for each player goes to PDGA fees, ace pot and tourney expenses.
The remainder of the entry fee goes to a traditional 50% cash payout.
