Hi All, time is drawing near!! Thanks for joining us at the Doomsday Finale!!
We will be dropping the player cap to 72 players today. This will allow us to do a shotgun start on both days,.
Saturday will see one round start at 10am for EVERYONE! This will do a few things, it will still leave time for everyone to do touristy things on Saturday afternoon, or you can join in on a random doubles at 2pm. Or maybe, some GUTS?? We will have a "court" laid out for this and some guts discs.
There will be live music with dinner at Civilia Golf on Saturday evening 6pmish.. and there will be lights and glow tape on baskets for the evening if you want to play rounds late!
Sunday will be a shotgun start again, then the awards ceremony and raffle draw. at about 2pm. This will allow time for anyone that needs to travel to do so.
Sunday afternoon will be another random flip doubles at 3:30ish...

Random flip doubles on Saturday will be $5 per person and pay out top 2-3 teams.

What's in the raffle you ask? Great question!!

Right now, we have 4 discs from the 2025 LVC. 2 Sexton Firebirds with the foil sheet, and 2 Heimburg Toros with the foil sheet. We also have a couple of CE plastic drivers going in, we have a few other signed collector pieces, as well as some other local prizing being added. It's gonna be GREAT!

Here is an email that went out to all Doomsday players.. some got kicked back to me. Too many to resend individually.

Hi all! This is your call out for registration for the Doomsday finale invite. Taking place Sept 20/21 in Clearwater at Civilia Golf course (Canadian Nationals Layout), this is sure to be a great time! You should have already gotten an email from Discgolfscene to register (once it opens on the 20th).

The first stipulation of this invite is you MUST have already played a Doomsday event this year, or are registered for one upcoming. Should you be registered for the upcoming and decide not to play, your invite to the finale will also be refunded. I just want to make sure we give everyone enough time to get registered, make plans, etc...

This active invite only list will be good for 2 weeks from the 20th of July, then will go public.

Some of you often register for multiple people so only your email is invited. IF this is the case and someone else should be invited as well. Please reply here with their name and email and tournament played and I will get it added to the invite list.
I am unsure if the invite will allow for a multiple registration (it shouldn't? But we have never used this feature) so, yeah, just email me back.

I will continue to add to the "about" information and will send out another mass email later on this summer.

As it happens, our first tournament day is on Sept 20th, which happens to be a fundraiser for the Paul McBeth foundation. ALL rounds logged via udisc on Sept 20th will raise funds for the Foundation.
You can also sign up and get pledged for holes played.
