Amateur players who win script can redeem script at tourney central after the Awards following the 2nd round. If you're not able to stick around for this, Saturday players who win script can also redeem script at tourney central on Sunday during the pro rounds. MA1 script can be redeemed after the 2nd round on Sunday. FA3, MA3, MA2 get paid down to top half of finishers. All other advanced amateur divisions get paid down to top third of finishers.

Here's a ton more relevant info for this weekend for your reading pleasure. Much of this you may already be aware of, but if you have any questions, the answer might be somewhere here.

We're playing the new temporary mando on new hole 10W, which is the new permanent summer hole 7W. For the Hab/Rec tourney layout, this is hole 10W. Disc must go to left of marked mando tree with arrow. OB shots to the right of the tree play next shot from the drop zone at a stroke penalty. The drop zone is just to the left of the mando tree and is marked with 2 flags and a flat surface.

On Saturday, we're playing the new amateur tee for the genius hole 10E, which is new permanent hole 16E. For the Hab/Rec tourney layout, this is hole 10E.
On Sunday, we're playing the usual pro tee for the genius hole. The walk-out up to the genius tee has changed. We no longer take the road up to the trail. That route has been permanently closed by the park. Now we cross the road at the new crosswalk and continue straight toward the river and walk up that far trail to the genius pro tee. It's actually about the same distance and time to do this new walk-out, and it's a bit easier of a walk.

Here's some info for live scoring.

We will be doing PDGA live scoring this year. All players are asked to please use PDGA live scoring for this event. It makes our turnaround time with hole assignments and scoring much faster if all groups can do live scoring. It's much more efficient than paper scoring, but we will have paper scorecards available at tournament central for players unable to do live scoring.



Hole assignments will be given after check-in is completed and shortly after players meeting begins at 8:30am. The live scoring password or access code is habrec.



Live Scoring Instructions



1. Have all players in your group go to www.pdga.com/score on their phone. You can also get the pdga live scoring app to use on your phone. The app might be even easier than the website, but both work fine.

2. Type in the access code: habrec

3. Log in using your last name or PDGA number. When you do this after hole assignments are given, all players in your group should also appear on the scoring page.

4. Hit Keep Score Round 1 (Or Round 2)

5. Click Begin Play

6. Keep Score

7. At the end of the round ALL players in the group need to approve their score.

8. Finalize and submit the scorecard, if you do it correctly, you do not even need to turn anything into the tournament staff. It will provide us with all the information we need to do groups for the second round.

9. Check back in at Tournament Central to make sure your scores are finalized.

OB's will be clearly stipulated on the tee signs. Roads, parking lots, and the river are out. Paths and gravel are safe.
As always, leaners are in. If your disc is touching the curb, it's in. Where your disc last touched the curb, it was in.
As always, no 2-meter suspended rule, but that's common in tournaments now. No stroke penalty. Mark your lie safely directly beneath where disc is suspended.

Save a photo of the course maps (in Pictures) on your phone to use during the rounds. Maps will also be posted at tourney central if you need to take a photo there.
Follow maps, tee signs, and the occasional next tee indicators.
Mostly Red (Am) tees on Saturday with red tee signs. Mostly Blue (Pro) tees on Sunday with blue tee signs. There are several shared tees with one White tee sign where all players throw from.
Almost all tourney tee signs will be posted on the tee post under the permanent tee sign. Read tournament tee sign for correct hole number. Tourney course flow differs from permanent course.

All vehicles need to display a park pass, day use or annual.
For those who will be camping in campground, quiet hours after 10pm, no chains late at night!

AM divisions (except MA1) play on Saturday, and PRO divisions plus MA1 play on Sunday.

For the day that you play, check-in starts at 7:30am at Cedar Shelter, which is the traditional tourney central B-lot. Check-in closes at 8:20am. You'll check in and then pick up players packs. Hole assignments will be posted after everyone checks in. We're doing PDGA live scoring this year, so you'll see your hole assignment on your phone after check-in. And you'll score during the round on your phone.

Players meeting at 8:30am, followed by shotgun start for round 1 at 9:00am. Wait for players meeting before going to your starting hole.

AM division players will be paid in script that can be redeemed at tourney central after the 2nd round. Lots of plastic and merchandise to choose from.

FA3, MA3, FA2, MA2 get paid down to top half of finishers. So if you score well enough to finish in the top half of the field in these divisions, you will receive script.

All other advanced divisions (FA1, FA40, MA1, MA40, MA50, MA60) get paid down to top third. If you finish in the top third of the field in these divisions, you will receive script.

Pro divisions get paid cash via PayPal down to top third.

Check out the course maps in Pictures. Red (am) tees on Saturday. Blue (pro) tees on Sunday. The East Course is the same as last year, which is basically the same as the traditional tournament layout with one exception. We're playing the new hole near Alder shelter, hole 8E, 2 holes before the genius. We're dropping the short hole in the woods near tourney central, same as last year.

The West Course has a couple changes. We're playing the 2 new holes in the outback on the far west side (10W and 12W) and we're combining 2 other holes into a new par 5, hole 16W.

The East Course is the same as last year, which is the usual tourney East layout, but the short hole in the woods near TC (old 4E) is not in play, and new 8E is added, which is 2 holes before the genius. Same as last year.
The West Course has a couple of changes. We're playing the 2 new holes on the far west side, 10W and 12W. New 16W is now a combo par 5. The first wooded hole after the stump hole (old 3W) is not in play.
