Here's the photo dump from the evening for your viewing pleasure! I know we had a blast hosting this and we're so happy you all came and participated in trying to get this course back into playing shape. We'll be sending out an additional final questionnaire in case anyone had more thoughts post-game or wanted to focus on their game during the event.

So many thanks to our wonderful Parks department, Friends of Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks, Metro Parks Outdoor Adventure and all of our incredible volunteers and participants. I can't believe the LEGENDARY Team DGM Captain Ben Biddinger picked up almost ALL of the signage while running around post-game!!! We couldn't have done it without you all and we hope you had fun!

Grow the Grove is HERE!

Huge thanks to all of you for signing up and being part of building the future of Scioto Grove DGC. This is how we level up the course and the community, and we’re pumped to get out there and throw with you.

When you arrive, follow the signs to parking at the Grove Lodge. Check in, grab your player pack, say what’s up, and get your hole assignment. From there, you can walk or hop on the shuttle over to the course. (Car pool if you can!)

We’ll kick things off with a quick players meeting near Hole 1’s tee pad, but the real magic happens after the round. That’s when we come together, talk ideas, and shape what this course becomes next. We want your feedback, your ideas, and your vision.

You’ll notice a few layout changes out there, especially on Holes 5 and 11 with adjusted tee pads. These are temporary moves to keep things safe and playable during the event. Not permanent, so definitely check out the original spots and let us know what you think. Also, heads up on Hole 4’s tee pad and the slopes around the course, especially near the water.

Each hole will have a QR code for feedback, so take a minute and let your voice be heard.

The biggest upgrade you’ll see is the first phase of a major pruning project. It’s not perfect yet and there are still some beasts lurking out there (I see you holes 3 and 8), but this is a huge step forward. This is what consistent volunteer work can do, and it’s just the beginning. We’re building toward something big, and this is hopefully the first step of a multi year vision. We’re already trying to bring everyone back out for another event later this summer.

Massive shoutout to the Scioto Grove Metro Parks team for welcoming us into their park and supporting the sport we all play so much. Please make sure to show them some love! And another thank you to Team DGM, Friends of Metro Parks, Metro Parks Outdoor Adventures, and all the volunteers who put in serious work to make this happen. This doesn’t happen without you.
