Green Monster Mash is a one round tee time event at Ryan C Kelley Green Monster Saturday 3/26.

All players must sign in. Sign in at the pavilion by parking lot. Players who have not signed in 10 minutes before their tee time will lose their spot.

There will be no in person players meeting Saturday.

For the unvaccinated; Masks that cover your mouth and nose are required when you sign in or any other time you are near the store, tournament central, and in your groups if you can’t socially distance.
Hand sanitizer is available for your use before you touch any merchandise in the store.

Amateur player package is a retriever. We will have a table with those items when you sign in. Pick up your players pack before the round.

Your tee time is listed at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/56612. In the morning check again your starting hole to confirm nothing has changed. Changes should be very unlikely and only if absolutely needed.

Some cards may have 3 people; if it is time to start and you only have 1 or 2 people you cannot start; wait where you are for the next group and play with them keeping scores separate. The person who does not show up gets par plus four for every hole they miss. If they show up after the tee time, they get par plus four even if 1 second late. Be on the tee of hole one before your tee time.

Each card must have two people keeping score. Open person must keep score via the PDGA website and another person any other way you want. Udisc is a common way for the second person to keep score.

For OB rulings, group decision is needed. If you can’t decide, give the benefit to the player; when in doubt play a provisional. Player must declare loudly they are playing a provisional.
Keep an eye on where you land. You only get 3 minutes to search for your disc before it is officially lost.

No two-meter rule; no special island rules. Everything is standard PDGA rules.

Bring plenty of water; and this may be a good time for this year to wear sunscreen & bug spray.

For those swapping their unwanted plastic, give us your discs before the round. We will value them as you play, and you will receive a script card for the value to use when you finish the round. We are not accepting any swaps after you finish round 1. Due to a massive influx of used Innova discs please expect $1 for Shark, Leopard, Teebird, Beast, Wraith, Katana & Groove

We will be paying out approximately the top 40% of each division. Professionals will be paid out via paypal by Monday night. Amateurs will be receiving script cards to spend in the onsite store. Please stay for your winnings.
MA1 paying out top 15 places
MA2 paying out top 12 places
MA40 paying out top 4 places
FA1 paying out 1st place

For any first-place tie breaker playoffs, start hole 1 short tee to short basket and continue all shortest tees and baskets.

We have currently collected $250 for the ace pot. If you did not pay online, you can pay as you sign in. For the side game for 'Ace Pot/Side Games' we will be doing a CTP (Closest to Pin) for hole 18 for your card. Each player who has paid in is eligible. Winner from each card will receive an item from TD.

Hole 1: OB Water, OB Building, & Tennis Court is both OB as well as a mando left. Short tee is DZ for mando.
Hole 2: OB Water
Hole 3: Hazard outside rock wall
Hole 4: Mando Left with DZ
Holes 6-10: OB Road
Hole 17: Mando Right with DZ, OB Road
Hole 18: Hazard outside rock wall

The B.S. Bochantin store will be set up this weekend at Green Monster from about 8am till about 5pm.
For those playing who would like to trade in unwanted discs we must have your discs before your round so we can value them as you play. For those not in the tournament please trade in after 10am.
Every PDGA legal disc you swap in will be valued $1 to $10 and you will receive a script card that can be spent on any BS Upshot merchandise.

As for new tee time it really depends on number of players, Right now we have 75 players signed up and with these we would have 21 cards of people. If no one else registers we would have first tee time 9am and last tee time 2pm. As more people register and we need more cards of players we may go as early as 7:30am or as late as 3pm.

It pains me to say it but Green Monster Mash will not happen this weekend.

We are actively working to move the date of the event to Saturday 3/26.

All refund requests made up until 7pm Monday 3/14 will receive a full refund (minus the DiscGolfScene fees).

If 3/26 does not work out then the event will be canceled and everyone will receive a full refund (minus the DiscGolfScene fees).

Tee times per division will be reevaluated but we will try to keep to the original schedule.
