About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Glitch Wish is a singles event to benefit Chikumbuso Women's and Orphans Project in Zambia.
General registration opens June 5th at 8pm. All ages and abilities are welcome. Divisions are age or experience based. Juniors and Purple will play one round.
Everyone will be playing with the Glitch ONLY, starting at 10 am. Two rounds of 18 for all except Juniors and Purple (who will have the option for an additional round for $5).
Players Pack includes your choice of a Glitch and one custom Chikumbuso Mini marker.
Please bring you own lunch. There will be time between rounds to enjoy in this beautiful setting.
Awards will be based on the sum of the two rounds, for all except Juniors and Purple. For Juniors and Purple, awards are based on their best of the rounds.
Award system:
If 1-3 players are in the division: 1st place award
If 4-6 players are in the division: 1st and 2nd place awards
If 7 or more players are in the division: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards
Any awards beyond the above are at the discretion of the tournament directors.
All scoring for this tournament will be on UDisc Events.
Chikumbuso Course Membership is being offered at a discounted rate during online registration. Please consider supporting the course and being rewarded with unlimited play in this joyful spot.
Tee Sponsorships are available for $30 each- have your name or company name prominently displayed at one of the 18 tees for the day, in support of Chikumbuso.
Raffle tickets are also available 5 for $5.00 during online-registration and at check-in on day of. Players may only win once.
#AcePot is available for $5 during online registration and at check-in on the day of- At the end of the day, the ace pot will be divided between all aces in the tournament If no aces during the tournament, the money will go to Chikumbuso.
The Chikumbuso DGC was established to create awareness and support the Chikumbuso Women’s and Orphans Project in Zambia. This nonprofit was established in 2005 in response to a widow begging for food. The project is a micro finance for widows and single mothers, an outreach for grandmothers and a free school for over 500 students. For more information www.Chikumbuso.com Proceeds from the Chikumbuso DGC helps with tuition for 6 college students from Zambia.
Purple division is for those with a rating of <800 who prefer to play only one round.
