Everyone - Here is the players meeting I emailed to everyone. Please read it. It's important!
Please remember to bring enough water that you have 2 full water bottles for each round. There will not be communal water stations on the course due to covid regulations.

This email was sent to all players:

I wanted to take one last moment to send a quick summary of the most important things on my mind!

--- WATER WATER WATER! The heat, dryness and smoke will be your greatest opponent tomorrow. You are going to *need* to bring 4 large bottles of water. 2 for each round *at least*. It's probably a good idea to bring some gatorade or coconut water to drink between rounds. Hydrate up tonight! **THERE ARE NO COMMUNAL WATER STATIONS ON THE COURSE**

Any word on potential drops? And just to verify from the email, a waitlister can come check in at 730am and wait for a spot?

Josh Kreutzer   August 21, 2020 at 9:06pm

I have zero withrdrawls to process currently. You can wait morning of for a spot.

Hey what are the chances I get in to play this weekend? I'm currently wait list #1 and trying to plan my weekend out. Thanks!

If I get a withdrawl in MA1, you're in. The likelyhood of that? It's hard to say. The number of withdrawls this year leading up to the event is WAY down from prior years. In prior years, I would have said it's fairly likely. This year, your guess is as good as mine.

Josh Kreutzer   August 17, 2020 at 3:13pm

That's the best I can do, I wish I had a better answer for you!

Scott Crawford   August 17, 2020 at 3:19pm

Thank you, I will keep me fingers crossed.

Hey there, why does it say 85/95 registered but all divisions are appearing full? Is that 10 spots open for waiting list? Thanks in advance

Josh Kreutzer   August 11, 2020 at 1:07pm

Registration is being done by divisions as we attempt to prevent any divisional mixing between divisions. I will be opening up the remaining 10 spots very soon.

When will course be a setup? Or will it stay the same that it is now

I am new to this site, why is there payment for waitlist? If we do not get in will the money be returned?

Josh Kreutzer   July 16, 2020 at 3:28pm

Philip - If you don't get in, the money will be refunded for sure. It's a way to make sure folks on the waitlist are serious about being on the waitlist. It's a challenge administratively if the WL is full of people who are signed up, but aren't sure they want to play.

Josh Kreutzer   July 16, 2020 at 4:45pm

Also, if you make it in off the waitlist, the $10 counts toward your entry.

Thank you!

Any chance of having an open division?

No sir. GAH will continue to be AM only this year. I'd like to expand in the next year or two when things are a little less crazy.

Josh Kreutzer    July 10, 2020 at 3:12pm

Gazebo at the Hollow 2020 is officially scheduled and happening. Hooray! I've updated the description and schedule to reflect some changes this year due to Covid. I can't wait to see all of your smiling faces on August 22!

Is August 22nd the fall date when the tournament will happen? Registration July 15th?

Josh Kreutzer   July 8, 2020 at 5:08pm

We are really, really close to having the details ironed out. I'm mostly confident in the 22nd. Keep your eyes peeled here for details on the registration date. I will firm that up soon too.

Josh Kreutzer   July 10, 2020 at 3:12pm

Check out my post! It's happening!

Josh Kreutzer    March 26, 2020 at 6:42pm

Good afternoon my friends! I know we have a weird registration date for GAH 2020 at the moment. We don't want to take any money and avoid processing fees until we have a better idea when the season will restart. Don't worry, I'll give everyone a week warning before we open up registration.
