All: check in will be at the pavilion near the baseball fields. Use the baseball field parking lot.

Does anyone know the distance from the tee on the over the lake hole to the shore?
How far do we need to throw to stay out of the water.
I will be throwing left handed as my right arm is sore.

Hi, everyone! Because the sun will set at 4:53, we are going to tee off at 1:30pm. I've also shortened the layout for the daytime round. This might mean we have a long dinner break.

It will likely be cold; please plan to dress in layers!

The weather outlook has gone from "yuck" to "yikes." Potential for lightning is there basically for the entire event, which is both unsafe and could lead to a wet, cold, incomplete tournament. Franklin Park has not mandated that we postpone the event, but greatly prefers, for safety reasons, that we do so.

Therefore, the event is postponed to Friday, November 19. This date already has been confirmed by State Coordinator Bob Cannon, and the PDGA is moving the eve ... more

If you still plan to play, you don't need to do anything. You simply will stay registered. Anyone who can not make the new date can request and will receive a refund of their full entry fee. I understand some of you may have scheduled carefully or taken PTO for this event. I apologize for the inconvenience, but lightning at Franklin, especially, is nothing to sneeze at.

But guess what? You can scratch that disc golf itch at the LoCo October Monthly on Saturday, October 30! Sign up at Disc Golf Scene and shred the fairways of Clark's Run, now with 100% less lightning than Friday at Franklin.

I see a good chance for rain and hope we don’t cut this off or short!
It has been an unreal summer with little rain.
Bringing extra cloths rain gear and discs towels!
No such thing as bad weather just bad cloths. ;)

a friend of mine is probably gonna caddie for me for this event, would we have to pay extra for dinner or just have to get something else? or will there be extra food there. i know it's a long way out so don't need an answer this soon too if you don't know.

Excited for the tournament, but have never played Franklin. I have heard there is construction that will change some of the holes. Is there an updated layout on Udisc I can use when I go to practice?

This sounds like fun! The registration date keeps changing, which makes me worry that this might not happen.

Is this going to happen or should we sign up for Raptors Roost Open before it fills up?
