Do we have a new date for this event?

Vince Tricarico   January 25, 2022 at 1:47am

We do not yet. The golf course is looking over their calendar to check for availability. The second a date is agreed upon, it will be announced. That makes for hanging on!

I can't commit to a later date. Would I be able to get a refund.

Hello,

I regret to inform everyone that the upcoming tournament, GVDG Kids Presents The Scholarship Shootout III by Eastern Disc Golf is postponed. This will also include the practice rounds on Saturday. Hi, I've never played disc golf in this area but I'm considering entering this tournament. I can't find any information on the "hybrid course at Farmville Country Club." Is there a map, layout or photos I can access somewhere?

The course will be up and available to play on Saturday January 22. You’ll need to schedule a tee time. It is a temp course so it will not be available for rounds prior. We will have a map published and put on this page by the end of today.

Michael Marshalsea    January 11, 2022 at 2:07am

With the event changed to 1 day. Are we playing 1 round at each course?

Vince Tricarico   January 11, 2022 at 2:21am

No, you will only be playing the hybrid course at Farmville Country Club.

Michael Marshalsea   January 11, 2022 at 2:34am

Just one round or two?

Vince Tricarico   January 11, 2022 at 4:56pm

Two rounds!

How many people are needed to run the tournament and what happens if you don't get enough?

Vince Tricarico   January 6, 2022 at 3:16pm

I don't foresee the tournament getting canceled, but if so everyone would receive a refund or their players pack plus partial refund.

Eric Hannan   January 16, 2022 at 1:22pm

Only 27 folks registered at this point, how many is needed for the tournament to go on?

Vince Tricarico    December 19, 2021 at 9:41pm

Eric, the layout has been updated for the Farmville Disc Golf Course

What tees will Rec play at Farmville DGC?

Vince Tricarico   December 11, 2021 at 11:41pm

Eric, everyone will play the same layout, which will be announced in the next few days. It will be a combination of blue and red pads, with the objective of keeping some difficult holes for the higher level players and some easier holes for the lower level players. It should be fun and challenging for everyone!
