This email contains important information about the event this Saturday. Please read it thoroughly. I have included waitlisted players as well, just in case!

Hello everyone!

Thank you so much for registering for the 6th Annual Giant Purple People Saver sponsored by Dynamic Discs! Another full field this year and as always, I am very excited for how we can contribute to the work of the American Cancer Society!!

Refunds - Tomorrow, Friday Nov 15th, is the FINAL day to request a refund. I have 6 willing players on the waitlist right now which is your best chance of getting your money back.

If you do not request a refund, and do not show up on Saturday, you will not receive any type of refund/merchandise for the event. If you need/want to drop, please do so by the end of day tomorrow, Nov. 15th.

Parking - Parking is going to be limited and I highly suggested as early an arrival as you can stand. If you are asked to pay for parking, just tell them that you are here for the Disc Golf Tournament.

There is another event in the park on Saturday that starts at 7am. Most of that will die down some before we even start but it will be a busy area between 7 and 9. My two biggest recommendations - Carpool and Early Arrival.

There is additional parking near the soccer fields but that is probably a few minutes walk from the course. Arriving at the last minute is not suggested.

Preferred parking areas are shown in the Pictures section.

Check-in/Player Pack Pick-up - The check in time has been adjusted to 7am - 8:30am to accommodate early arrivals and player pack distribution.

If you arrive after 8:30, you can pick up your player pack after round 1, no exceptions, please don't ask.

Best disc choices and shirt size options (for those that signed up after the size deadline) will be early. First come, first served.

Again, arriving last minute will not be ideal because of the parking constraints.

Player Meeting and Hole assignments - Please do everything you can to attend the player meeting at 8:40a.

Hole assignments will be posted during the meeting to allow for last minute changes brought on by drops/no-shows.

We would like to get a group photo before the round as well, so smile. :)

Course changes - This was posted in the Disc Golf Scene page but in case you missed it, we will not be playing Hole 2 on Saturday but there will be an added Hole 19. Play Hole 1 and then go directly to Hole 3, play Hole 18 and then head to Hole 19 before moving on to Hole 1. See image in pictures section for the layout of Hole 19. This hole will not be playable until Saturday morning.

Hole Notes for the event are attached to this email as well and will be in digital scoring. PDGA Digital scorecard will be used for scoring and the access code will be displayed at check-in.

Raffle Tickets - Last, but certainly not least, raffle ticket sales have been closed on the DG Scene page but we will have plenty for sale at the event at lunchtime and after round 2. We have over 40 raffle items to give away at the end of the awards ceremony and all raffle ticket $$ goes directly to ACS!
