Sorry for the delay, but final payouts have been posted on Disc Golf Scene for the 2023 Birthday Bash: http://dgscene.com/2023-BirthdayBash
Payment will be sent for the entire team via the PayPal account that was used to sign up the team. It is the team's responsibility to split up the final payout. It's worth noting that tiebreakers were used to determine the final placement in the tournament and did not affect the payout amounts. If two teams had the same score, they were both paid out the same.
Finally, we want to express our tremendous gratitude to the club, volunteers, and the local SF disc golf community that make our course such a special place. We could not have done this without all the help we received.

We would like to congratulate the following winners in each division:

Winner Century: Barely Legal (-14) - Jabir Ponce and Sean Jack
Winner Mix: 10 Feet of Terror (-14) - Ashley Foust and Cory Murrell
Winner Amateur: Frank And Fozzy’s Frolfing Funday (-12) - Alex Georgopoulos and Hunter Faustino
Winner Women: What The Heck Is An Aubuchon (-7) - Beth Aubuchon and Jennifer Heck

Final scores for the event are posted here: https://udisc.com/leagues/ggp-doubles/wvX1?tab=scores. Tiebreakers were determined by the following criteria in order: most aces, most birdies, bogey free, least bogeys, and least double bogeys or worse.
Finally, payouts are still being worked on and will be announced once the financials of the tournament have been settled. Hopefully, they should be finalized in the next 24-48 hours.

Attention all Birthday Bashers! Tee times for the SF Disc Golf Club's 2023 Birthday Bash are now FINAL and can be found at https://storage.googleapis.com/event_website/sfdgcbirthdaybash2023.html. Please note that changes to tee times are currently frozen. Please reach out ASAP if there are any issues, and we will do our best to resolve them.

Lastly, we are still collecting used disc golf gear for the Lawton Alternative School (https://www.sfusd.edu/school/lawton-alternative-school-k-8). Please consider donating any old or unused discs, bags, or other gear to this great cause. We will have a collection box for donations at tournament central, so please bring your items with you on the day of the event. Empty that closet of all that gear you never use! Let's give these kids the opportunity to experience the joy of disc golf!

Attention all Birthday Bashers! We need your help to make this year's event a success. We are looking for volunteers to help us man tournament central in 2-hour blocks from 6am to 3pm. If you're available and willing to lend a hand, please let us know your availability by emailing us at [email redacted]. I will be sending an email later today to all the people who have reached out regarding helping

We're also looking for help with course work this Friday starting at 1pm. I'll be there working on some of the holes, and I would love your assistance. If you're available, please come out and join us.

Please note that tee times are fluid, and your group can always move to a later time if needed, but moving to an earlier time is at the discretion of the Canine Tournament Director. Initial tee times were assigned based on the earliest registered team in each group. If you were assigned a group and would like to switch to a different group, please let us know before the tournament day.

Halo Option Update

First thanks to all who have already registered. I would like to apologize about the sign up snafu. The option to opt out was missing.

So please identify your situation and act accordingly:
Neither player wants the upgrade - chose it to complete registration
Please file a refund request for the full amount, $24 using Disc Golf Scene
1 partner wants the upgrade but the other doesn’t
Please file a refund request for $12 using Disc Golf Scene. Only one person will be able to receive a halo disc. Please indicate who that person will be in your refund note.
Both partners want the Halo upgrade.
No action at this time.

We will be sending out a survey shortly for disc mold preferences. Lowest registration time will have the first choice and so on.

We will be suspending the Halo option going forward as we need to ensure we can fulfill the current registered players. The remaining Halo stock will be available on a first come first serve basis at tournament central.
