The GCDGA welcomes you to Thornageddon 10.

This tournament is a sanctioned C-Tier tournament with two rounds of 20 Baskets.

Check in at the Tournament HQ before heading out to your designated starting spot. HQ will be at the new shelter. This way I know who is here. So check in.

It is going to be a hot one on Sunday. Bring plenty of drinks, but I will have a water jug at One and at Ten. If the water runs out in a jug, there is a water fountain by the restrooms.

There are a few holes where using a spotter will be useful. Please use spotters so that we spend less time looking for discs.

We have covered the extra baskets on holes that have two, if they fall off here are the baskets we will play on the holes that have two.
6 play the Long basket
8 play the Short basket
12 play the Long basket
16 play the Long basket
18 play the Long basket

The OB's for the tournament are as follows:

Basket 6: OB is the creek to the right, but you have to try very hard to get there.
Basket 15: Across The Creek on the Left, starting at the painted line, all the way down to the pathway.
Basket 14: Across the Creek on the Right, starting at the tee and ending when the paint stops.
As a note, There is a tree leaning quite far down, we will try to trim some of the branches, but it will still be quite an obstacle. We have informed the Parks department, but I doubt they will get to it tomorrow.
Basket 19: Island hole. If you miss the island go to the drop zone, the DZ is in circle one, so no jump putt.

The Access Code to the PDGA Scorecard is gcdga2024. A change from previous years is that now everyone on the card has to keep score. Either with the PDGA scorecard or a paper one. We will have paper cards at HQ.

I will post Second round start time on Facebook and on Disc Golf Scene. Being that I will be starting my round on Hole 1, 2 or 4, please make sure you know where you need to be, as I will need to be at my starting hole on time.

Please Adhere to the substance abuse policy of the PDGA rule book, Section 3.03 for all the information needed. If you have the PDGA App this is easy to find.
