Good morning yall!
Its Creek Week!
I just wanted to give you guys a heads up on the week and other information!
Waitlisters. The only way you get into the event is if someone drops from your division. We will not be opening up any more spots for the event. If you get in, you will receive an email letting you know that you got in. I will not be adding anyone from the waitlist once the event starts. If you do not get in from the waitlist, you will receive a full refund (minus the Discgolfscene fees).
Both Upper and Lower layouts are available on UDisc for practice or questions. If you are unfamiliar with the layout you are playing for the event use UDisc to get that info!
We are running a sanctioned Flex Start on Friday 4/4 from 8:00am to 3:00pm.
Its $5 (cash only) with an additional $15 for non-PDGA members.
There is also a $5 optional ace pot.
We are using the Lower Layout from this weekends event.
You do not have to be playing the event to play the flex start, it is open to everyone. You can show up solo and we can put you with a group or you can show up with a group!
Tee times will be going out on Thursday 4/3, we wait until then because of the last minute drop outs and this method requires a lot less moving things around.
Check in for the event will be 10 minutes before your scheduled tee time. Tournament Central will be located on the backside of the pro shop nearest to hole 13, which is your starting hole. Just be present and ready to be called up for your player meeting before your tee time.
OB Rules for the event will be the same from years past and are based on normal OB Rules for each hole with a few exceptions: hole 16 and 17 will have an additional OB line that plays along the tree line that separates the two holes. Hole 6A will not have a Mando as the hole no longer has a Mando. All OB Rules will be listed on PDGA Live Scoring.
All player packs will be picked up on Saturday after your round at Tournament Central (the backside of the pro shop).
We also have Win Your Card prizes for Round 1, so make sure you come see us after your Round!
Putting Game will be on Saturday only, if you pre-registered for that, awesome! You can edit your registration to include that or pay the day of. Putting Game is $5. You get 3 putts from 6 different stations. There are two divisions for payouts Upper and Lower that coincide with the Upper and Lower layout separation from the event. If you are confident with your short game, don't sleep on the Putting Game!
CTPs will be during Round 2 on Sunday, this year CTPs are an option not automatic. If you want in on CTP check or edit your registration.
All Amateur payouts for the event will be through Dellwood Disc Golf pro shop on site. All Pro payouts will be via PayPal after the event.
If you don't have a PayPal account, we do recommend having one. All Ace Pot, CTP, Putting Game and Pro payouts will be done through PayPal.
We will have Truckin' Delicious food truck on site both days, please support the people that support us. Their food is fantastic!
Please do not park on any of the neighborhood streets near the pro shop. If the parking lot and over flow parking lot are full please go around and enter the main entrance to Dellwood Park off of State St. and park near holes 3,4,5. You can then walk the path to Tournament Central.
If you have any other questions, reach out, we are happy to assist!
