Due to the chance of rain, we will meet at the shelter between 13 and 14. Weidner’s will be providing lunch which is BBQ chicken, smoked pulled pork, buttered spuds, carrots, Greek bow tie pasta, salad and rolls between rounds. This will also give us a place to sit and eat.

The Love of Hawk’s is a fundraiser tournament. This will be a 2 round non sanctioned doubles event. You can send a message in comments if you choose to play with someone, otherwise all singles will be paired with another player the morning of the tournament. Divisions will be made after Tuesday’s update of PDGA rankings. The combined ranking of both teammates will determine what division you are in. Non ranking PDGA players will receive a score of 775 for males and 675 for females. Everyone will play from the white tees. There are 3 divisions, a co-Ed division, advanced division, combined ranking of 1700 and higher, and an amateur division of a combined score of 1699 and lower. First tee time will be at 8:30 breaking an hour for lunch with the second round to start at 1:30. Prizes, and raffle drawings to follow. Doug and Mary Opiela have come into some unfortunate circumstances that have brought some unexpected financial expenses. They have had to temporarily close their coarse while having to relocate some tee boxes and baskets. All fees, donations or sponsorship of holes for the tournament will go directly to Doug and Mary. Prizes will be given for top 3 places in each division. There will also be a raffle for prizes as well. Lunch will be provided, (hotdogs and hamburgers, and bottles of water.)

Since this is a fundraiser, no cash prizes will be given. Prizes will be the donations received from vendors and supporters. I will update the prizes as they come in. I have received 2 bushnell range finders, 2 Pro Hd Axiom baskets (one red, one green), Spartan hat, a blue paratrooper bag, America paratrooper bag, a green trooper bag, multiple discs, a few with awesome dye jobs.
INNOVA is donated $100 in gift cards. Big shout out to Kevin K and Nichole T-K for their help!

There have been many that have contacted me in regards to giving a donation but not being able to play. You can select division D25 for a $25 donation, and D50 for a $50 donation and you will not be entered into the tournament. For players attending the event that would like to give a little extra to Doug and Mary when you register you can select the 10, 25 or 50 dollar amount.

The CTP money collected will be paid to the person in each division. The winner player can donate their winnings of the CTP to Doug and Mary if they choose. less
