To those of you who attended the Ice Bowl tournament held out at Peter's Creek on February 16th this is how we helped the Food Bank of Alaska:

Collectively we raised $725 for the FB of AK. Up from last year's total of $540. (Side note: I had originally submitted $675 as the dollar amount raised. When I counted the cash we were over $50 which was an extra donation from Rod Stepp's bounty from the side game ($40) and someone else told me to keep the change($10)).

$725 purchased 3,625 lbs of food and will eventually feed 3,021 people.

Thanks to everyone that came out to the Ice Bowl. 25 people bought in and we raised $725 for the Food Bank of Alaska. That's up from last year's $540. And an ace was hit (#13 by Tay Harling). Channel 11 news followed us and got some good footage of us. The reason they showed you guys so much is because you kept hitting those shots. That was fun to watch. Killin' it!!! Let's do it again next year!

Last chance to help out a fellow TD. If you plan on attending the Ice Bowl this Sunday at Peter's Creek please let me know so I can add your name to the registration list (it's easier to use an "X" instead of writing a persons name and number especially if it's freezing balls out). Also, with this being a fundraiser for the Food Bank of Alaska, please consider having a few extra bucks on you ($10 will be enough). I'm really looking forward to it!!!
