About this tournament
This is a Double Elimination Match Play Bracket event for players who qualify via the Flexing Down 49 Tour. $5 of each entry throughout the tour has been collected to be paid out at this Finale! It is completely free to enter if you qualify! Check out the link below for full details on how to qualify.
Prepare for this to be a 2 day event for players who advance deep into their brackets. This year we have the luxury of having the clubhouse on site for meeting and downtime! All groups will roll of on hole 1 of their course layout and matches will be scheduled well in advance to keep a steady flow for the day. This is again a reason we are preparing for 2 days this year.
We will have games, field events, and lunch at the clubhouse to enjoy during down time. There will also be a PDGA sanctioned C-Tier Flex Start at Eagle's Nest to play in on Saturday!
The Course
This event will be played on a custom course laid out at the Dojo Country Club for exclusive for this event. Each division will have its own specific 9 hole course that is designed specifically for each skill level. The course will be set up and playable on November 1st through the Finale.
Format
This event features a double elimination match play bracket. Players will be seeded based on regular season standings. Seeding is important in deciding match ties and 1st round byes. In the event that a match is tied after 9 holes the win will be awarded to the player with the higher seed.
Players will have 2 chances to compete before being eliminated from the bracket. Brackets will be published on October 27th after the final tour stop of the year! New this year, the losers side of the bracket will feature a full 9 hole match.
About The Flexing Down 49 Tour
The Flexing Down 49 Tour is a unique disc golf series of events where players compete for a chance to play for huge payouts at the Finale event on November 22nd-23rd! Each Tour Stop features a PDGA sanctioned Flex Start C-Tier event where players earn tour points based on the round rating they earn during play. Players who compete in 8 or more tour stops will receive invitations to the Match Play Finale! The Finale is free to enter but requires and invitation. Regular season standings will determine seeding and tie breakers for the Finale's unique Double Elimination Match Play Bracket. We are on pace to have over $8000 in payout at the 2025 Finale! Don't miss your chance to play in this one of a kind event!
