No you do not need ribbons you need spikes for your feet cuz it's slippery as hell and you need to put brakes on your disc because it's going to be Slidin

Couple minor potential spots, other than the dude that put in a pump. I have a Disc Gator on a 12ft pole available for use.

Just took a walk through of the course with Chris & Neil. Rubber boots were handy for them. Ice spikes or screws are recommended for all. There's a small layer of crunchy ice and some slush top layer over the very solid ice. Island & lake perimeter edges are the only areas of concern. There will be a minor tweak to course design to avoid a section of the lake near a residents open water pump. Best way on the island is via the dock. We've been at freezing or below since nightfall yesterday. Its only getting colder tonight and forecasted at or below freezing for both rounds tomorrow.

what will determine if the lake is safe to play on? Just curious with this recent heat wave we've had this week.

Will be doing ice checks all the way through Friday night to make sure will be testing out all the on offs to make sure that safe as well
