Morning everyone. With just over a month to go for the Fernie Tourney, I thought I would share some news. There will be a few minor changes to the course. In particular, hole 14&15 area. This area of the course has notoriously been slow moving, so a few changes are coming in. First, there will be 2 basket positions for hole 14, and only MPO will be playing the long “Tournament” position, all other divisions play to the shorter “Main” location. Next, hole 14 will also feature a new Mando, which will take away throwing over the dyke, (I too will need to adjust), this will aid in traffic flow. And lastly, hole 15 may see a new tee pad location for MPO division only (New tee area would be on top of dyke, Distance would increase to 397’, par 3, all OB drives use regular tee as drop zone).
