Get ready to embrace the beauty of autumn at the inaugural Fall Foliage Fling! This PDGA-sanctioned C-tier event includes two rounds of disc golf on the Seth Burton Memorial and Orange Crush courses. For the first time in our sanctioned tournaments, we're introducing blended layouts.
The first 30 amateur registrants will receive a cozy toque to keep you warm during those crisp fall rounds, a pair of socks, a fabric pumpkin trinket, in an autumn-themed bag. Registrants beyond the first 30 will receive a premium disc. Trophies are laser cut/engraved birch and walnut ply with a base made from Morris Park birch.
The ground will be carpeted with vibrant autumn leaves, waiting to challenge your disc-spotting skills. After the rounds, warm up with some hearty chili or stew—provided we can organize it in time—before you head home.
We'll be starting early to ensure we wrap up before the early autumn sunset, so be sure to arrive on time and ready to compete!
First Round (Mellow Yellow, SBM/OC):
MPO: Long to B (Yellow/Orange)
FPO, MP40, MA1, FA1, MA40: Long to A (Red)
All other divisions: Short to A (Red)
Second Round (Angry Orange, OC/SBM):
MPO and MP40: Long to A (Red)
FPO, MP50, MA1, FA1, MA2, MA40, MA50: Short to B (Yellow/Orange)
All other divisions: Short to A (Red)
The specific course layout for each division might change depending on how many people sign up. If more than 32 people register, it will switch to a pool play format. Each division needs at least 3 players to run, but we might make exceptions for divisions that typically have low participation. The par scores for each hole will be the same as those used in the main layouts of the SBM 2024 tournament. If you're interested in playing in a division that's not currently listed, please reach out to us.
If you contributed your time to working at the Seth Burton Memorial A-Tier in August, whether it was on a workday or helping with course maintenance beforehand, reach out to us for a $5 discount on your registration.
The Rotary has started to put up the Christmas lights, so there will be a few extra obstacles to challenge your skill.
We are proud to announce that the Fall Foliage Fling will be part of a great initiative to support women's health! In line with a renewed PDGA initiative, for every woman playing in our tournament, the PDGA will donate $2 to Throw Pink. Throw Pink is a non-profit organization that uses disc golf to raise money for women's health-related charities, with a focus on breast cancer. By participating in the Fall Foliage Fling, you're not only enjoying a great day of disc golf but also contributing to a worthy cause.

In addition to a portion of the female entry fees going to Throw Pink, would you provide a donation box for cash contributions?
Good idea Brian, I'll put one out.
$142 total donation raised for Throw Pink at this event, great job everyone!
