Good morning and Happy Easter!
I am super excited that you signed up to be part of our "Easter Classic" at Miami Whitewater on Sunday April 5th. This will be a 1 round PDGA C-Tier. We will do a shotgun start at 130p sharp.
For Miami Whitewater, it's definitely a unique setup because there is no shelter or area close to the course for tournament central.
We will check in at the picnic table by hole 1. That will be tournament central for most of the round. After the round, we will have our payout area set up in an overlook area with several picnic tables. I will point this out when everyone checks in. It's not required to come back to payout central unless you "cash".
Also, please remember that Hamilton County Parks does charge to get into the parks when there is an attendant at the gate. Because this event is under 50 players, we do not have the permit for an event where you get free entry. So plan accordingly, or park down by 15 and walk up.
Cheryl and I will be hole one and will begin check in around 1p. We will have a shotgun start at 130p. I will post hole assignments by around 9p on night prior to event (tonight). They will be found at:

With doing a shotgun start, make sure you are at your hole by 128p when we will yell "two minutes". Please be aware that the course is not shut down for this event, so be mindful and considerate of casuals who may be on the course. It's important that we all play nice together.

1-125p - Player Check In
130p - Shotgun Start
@330p- Awards/payouts
For those in the ACE fund, payouts will be done electronically this year. If an ACE isn't hit it will be donated to the UC Discats as they open their season in their quest to repeat as National Champions.
We will be using PDGA Live for all scoring, and a reminder that everyone needs to keep score now (PDGA live, Udisc or paper copy). The PDGA Live access code is: easter45
The OB here is pretty simple. OB is mainly on/over roads/pavement.
Cards will be made of of primarily 3-4 players. Depending on numbers, we may have to mix some divisions. We will do our best to make sure everyone is with at least 1 person from their division.
In the event there is a tie, the playoff will start on hole 1 until there is a winner.
All AM divisions will receive AM's merchandise credit to use immediately following the completion of their divisions rounds to be used the day of event. There will be merchandise on hand to exchange. Open players will receive their payouts via PayPal electronically.
It is on each player to know the PDGA rules and guidelines. It is on each card to make sure you are on the appropriate tee. It's easy to go to the wrong hole sometimes, so make sure the card confirms they are on the correct tee pad for each hole.
It's going to be a great afternoon round. Again, we are excited that you are going to join us.
