Dye Academy is a disc dyeing workshop where talented artists teach you how to dye you own disc. The topic covered in this workshop is Hot Dips and Stencils. This style of dyeing involves using a pc and vinyl cutter to design, cut and apply vinyl to the disc and then floating the disc on dye mixed with hot water

The workshop is scheduled from 2:00 - 3:30 pm, on Wednesday April 27th. The cost for the workshop is $45 per session and each participant will receive a blank white, bottom-stamped disc in fuzion plastic to dye. All dyes and other supplies will be provided during the workshop. Dye Academy will be located on the second floor of the Emporia Arts Center located in downtown Emporia at 815 Commercial Street.
