Thomas Greenhow Is there any way to choose a card mate? My friend is playing this as his first tournament and id love to be there with him for the first round. Nov 1, 2024

John Gould-Thorpe Nov 1, 2024 The email didn't send out properly last night. It has just been resent to everyone.
Kyle Jung Unrelated to event 1, do we know the full schedule+locations for the season? Oct 9, 2024
John Gould-Thorpe Oct 9, 2024 Should have a number of other events listed in the coming weeks.
Kyle Jung Oct 10, 2024 Thanks. just trying to plan any necessary travel etc.
Ralph Bohmert I’m surprised Innova Canada would support a format that has the effect of discriminating against senior players. I do agree with John that the best way to change policy is to get involved with the organizations. Oct 3, 2024

Jason Pavle Since my son signed me up and didn’t know any better, can you change me from MP40 to MA2 I guess. Oct 2, 2024
BCDGA Events Oct 3, 2024 Hi Jason, We have moved you to MA2 you do have the option to move into MA3 also.
Chance Stad It's really hard to have this discussion spread out all over the comment section for the tournament. We encourage everyone to continue this discussion on the FB post on the subject...

Taylor Dungate I see it's a members only tournament? All tge other duck golf isn't members only from what I remember. Not a huge deal but if I buy a membership to raptors now is it only good for the rest of this year? Oct 2, 2024
Ross Kagna Oct 2, 2024 Not members only, you just have to add the $10 green fee if you are not a member
Chance Stad Oct 2, 2024 All tournaments at Raptors have this requirement. You can become a member, or pay $10 green fee.

I am also a MA60 player . I've enjoyed playing with all the above players in this division. We have developed a competitive and friendly disc golf group . Most of us do not have a long play or tourna ... show more ›

David Ohnona In my humble 4 years of playing tournaments, MA3 is far too mixed for my liking. Winners often win by 100 rating points over the bottom half. Not fun at all. I'm 66 years old, not 26-46. Oct 2, 2024
Sebastian Mercado Oct 2, 2024 There's never MA4 offered that's why.
Chance Stad Oct 2, 2024 Having less divisions will make them more competitive.
Rick Collins Oct 7, 2024 I'm with you Dave. Unfortunately, senior division players are always seen as somehow disabled. How are you still upright and playing?
Ralph Bohmert I’m with Gary and Chris. It’s a terrible idea and removes the best part of the game for me. No matter where in BC I play I’m always going to run across an old friend on my card. That’s what the game is about. Oct 1, 2024

Chance Stad Oct 2, 2024 The pro divisions aren't already broken down by skill level like the Amateurs are. The Pro Divisions are all Open divisions.
Keith Turpin Oct 7, 2024 I hope some of these comments will help to inform the organizers that the social aspect has value.
Chris Carlton I have to agree with Gary on this one. I like who I normally play with. MA2 and MA3 may be competitive in theory but normally are won by young players greatly exceed their ratings. I hated MA2 too many hotheads and players that didn't follow rules. Will be Mp60 or nothing for me Oct 1, 2024
BCDGA Events This event will be Sanctioned as a PDGA C-Tier in the next few days Sep 30, 2024
Kyle Jung Oct 15, 2024 I assume this will still happen? I just don't see it online yet.
John Gould-Thorpe Oct 16, 2024 The event is happening it has just not been linked between Disc Golf Scene and PDGA yet as there is a small technical problem.

Welcome to Duck Golf 2024/2025! We anticipate the most common question will be about the absence of age-protected divisions for amateurs. Our decision to limit divisions is aimed at creating larger ... show more ›
