It’s exciting to see how fast tournaments are filling up these days, but frustrating too. I am 50 on WL and I started at 8:00. I got delayed looking up my PDGS number.

write to and encourage the tournament directors to set up tournaments with reserved spots for women players. The sport certainly needs better gender balance, but ultimately those decisions are made by individual TD's for each event
No, I did create a second event on Sunday to accomodate the demand. I would not give up though. Drop outs have been excessive this year and most wait lists dissolve by the time of the event.
