It's official! The 2011 proto is now PDGA legal up to 183 grams and has been named Zeppelin. The copies that your players have are legal for tournament use, so please spread the word.


No info at this point on when or whether Zeppelin will be released to the general public.

Just an FYI. I posted this on the Sims park talk but..... There will be a bike race at Sims Park this coming weekend. Set-up is Saturday and the event will be Sunday. Avoiding playing here will ... show more ›

There will be a bike race at Sims Park this coming weekend. Set-up is Saturday and the event will be Sunday. Avoiding playing here will be good for your sanity and the event. Feel free to come out to the event though! I'll be spinning tunes all day Sunday!

Hey all! Very successful day! We had better than 90 players out on the course today! Sold a sold 80 players packs on a very solid putter with bag! I need to order a couple more for players that couldn't make it but wanted some. Anyone interested in additional players packs or one at all?!! LMK! I want to put the order in Wednesday morning. $25!

Then probably about 1ish, we will get together anyone who is interested and play a random draw doubles, $5 a head, one round of 21. I would figure we will be done with the day no later than 4.

Ok. Here is the deal. As of right now I have officially oversold the Ace Race. I need to order packages ahead of time and I ordered (and have in hand) 80 packages. According to the list on the registered players side, I have 81 packages sold.

What does this mean to the slackers? In the past, I have been able, on game day, to split packages to allow everyone to play and after the event, ordered the extras I need to fulfill everyone's want for a package. What this means is that all of the people who preregister will get a package. I have never had this many people sign up (way to go all!) and it is encouraging to have a second event at Sims that will draw upwards of 80 people!

I am going to ask, day of, for people to "lend" discs out and make it happen so, if you are not on the list, I am not adding you to the list. Show up on Sunday and we will see what we can do about getting you into play.
