Allow extra time to park in Aspen village and travel to Gondola. Morning traffic here is busy and you do not want to delay your arrival.
All tees are marked with our DiscGolfPark tee signs. Images of the holes are not relevant to each but the flow of the course regarding hole numbers and also distances are accurate
For simplicity, tee signs will continue 1-21 but your scorecards will be labeled specifically with temp holes, 11a 11b, 15a
Ask questions. There are many players out here that are familiar with the flow of this course. A reminder, each basket contains an arrow that will point you to the next tee pad.
Hole 11: There is no OB. Players may choose to throw from designated drop zone instead for penalty if they do not wish to retrieve their disc off the tee
Hole 11a: Two drop zones. Players that do not cross the boundary marked with yellow ribbon proceed to the first drop zone. Players that pass this boundary may proceed to the second marked zone. This refers to any throw that travels left over the cliff down the ski boundary
11b: No OB. A re-throw is advised if you do not wish to retrieve your disc or cannot locate it.
Absolutely no smoking allowed, drinking during event
Leave the course cleaner than it was to begin with
Treat guests with respect and courtesy
Hikers have the right of way. Allow them to safely pass and you may proceed.
Politely remind visiting players that there is a tournament in progress and the course is full. I do not want to hear a report that any of our players have been rude to others.
Please prepare for all weather conditions. Sunscreen, rain gear, plenty of water.
Provisionals, provisionals, provisionals. Is there a chance you may have to walk all the way back up to throw again? Play it safe and declare a provisional to save yourself time as well as others
Play a provisional if you have a ruling question. Cover all of your options.
Spot for the group behind you. Waive the group ahead once you have arrived at your throws and help keep the pace of play. This is extremely important that we help each other through these key holes:
11, 11a, 11b, 14, possibly 15
Weather: Anything can happen. If you hear my horn blow, do NOT resume play. Mark your lie and proceed to seek shelter. We will sound the horn again when it is safe to continue.
Speed of play is extremely important. Gondola closes at 4:30, we need to help each other make sure that no one misses a ride down
Last note: I will not be at the bottom of the Gondola Sunday. Brief player meeting will be held at the Ski Patrol station by hole 1 at 10:00

As a reminder: I will NOT be at the bottom of the gondola for loading and will meet you at the top. 10:10 brief player meeting for all that arrive and we will start promptly at 10:30 tee off. Awards will follow immediately after play has concluded at the top of the mountain. Players that do receive money will have checks mailed to them.

Important course notes that caused confusion:

Hole 11: Player must choose drop zone or to throw from their drive. They may NOT throw from drive, decide it’s not good enough and elect to take the drop zone instead. You need to choose to proceed with your shots or to the drop zone only, you do not get to do both
Hole 11a: Absolutely no shots are allowed to be played from beyond the ski area boundary. If you cross beyond it out of bounds, proceed to the appropriate drop zone
Hole 12: Tee is longer, there is no drop zone on hole 12. If you see two orange flags when walking the path, that is your tee area
Hole 18: Hole 18 tee is deep toward storage area of ski patrol equipment. If you have questions about the tee, please ask nearby players or play provisional tee shots if you are unsure of the location. Tees are marked with orange flags on all holes.

I don't think it let me add ace pool on my registration is that still possible to add?

Also, the event is a two day event correct? does this mean that players with be throwing in two rounds on Saturday and two rounds on Sunday? thanks, David.
