A few more things to get you ready for an amazing day on Saturday (please also see the email below I sent on Monday).
- Starting holes have been posted to PDGA. However, please double check on Saturday morning just in case we have anyone drop between now and then.
- We have two "ghost holes". If you are on "GH1" your card will be starting on hole 5 after the initial starting group. If you are on "GH2" your card will be starting on hole 13 after the initial starting group.
- Reminder, group photo by TC at 8:50. We need to memorialize 20 years of disc golf at NAD!
- The blue tee pad for hole 3 had a tree fall on it over the winter and WSDGA has not had the ability to fix it. The pad is still playable, but please be careful and aware of your footing.
- Tis the season for bees! There is a known ground nest on the fairway of hole 11. It has been marked. You can take casual relief if you land within that area. Please familiarize yourself with casual rules here. That being said, if you identify any other bee hazards during the round, please send me a text and let me know (509-723-8485), I will add a note to the PDGA live scoring, and try to place a flag (if possible). You can take casual relief from any bee hazards identified by the card.
- Again, pace of play is important with 90 people on the course. Every player on the card should be acting as a spotter. If you have caddies on the card, it wouldn't hurt to send them ahead to spot specific holes, such as 7, 8, 14, 15, 17. Please familiarize yourself with the PDGA pace of play rules here.
- CTPs will be in play for round 1 only. Those have been identified on PDGA. Make sure you check the flag to see if it is for your division before moving and writing your name (this happens more than it should!). Please bring in the CTP flag on your finishing hole.
- We will be using PDGA live. The password is DEPOT. Please familiarize yourself with the updated PDGA scoring rules here.
- Lunch will be provided for $5 (two slices of pizza, a drink of your choice, and a snack item) for those who wish to partake.
- We will have a ring of fire after round 2, before awards. Please stay around and earn some swag!
- Thank you to all of our tee pad sponsors! Your donations really do help make an event like this better!
- Thank you to Brianna Muro for the disc stamp design. She really captured 20 Years of throwing frisbees at NAD!
- Thank you to my assistant TD's Dylan Jacot and Jackie Gfeller for the help and for taking the lead on the awesome 1st place trophies.
- Thank you to Matt at 360 Disc Golf who did the players pack item towels at cost, which made it possible to provide an additional player pack item for all AMs! And for donating CTPs and ring of fire prizes!
