Thank you to all who donated to this event or came out to support the cause. Without all of you, this would not have been possible. I am going to make a list of the donations, but feel it would not be fair to post who gave what, as the it isn't the amount the matters, but the willingness to the cause that does. Many people donated money, items for prizes, and time to this event, and it just shows that the disc golf community is very tightly knit and has a true love for one another. Bill is a great guy and I'm glad so many of you showed up and contributed to this event to help a fellow disc golfer in his time of need. And I know he was very touched by all of this.

A big thanks goes out to the 30 golfers who showed up today to support our cause!! We had a beautiful day at the Oz and prime disc golfing conditions for all to enjoy!! A total of $1051 was raised between the event and the raffle, which is quite impressive!! An extra special thanks goes out to all who donated to the event, which includes prizes, money, and entries of all who played. The disc golf community showed up in full force, and this is exactly why I love this game and all who support it. I will get the scores entered in the next few days here and on the event page on discgolfscene, and will also get a sponsor recognition post created. Also, thank you to the Lakeshore Lounge for hosting our crew after the event. It was a great day, and I feel proud to be part of this area's disc golf community.

Sponsor donations for prizes are starting to come in!! So far we have MVP Disc Sports, Discraft, Dynamic Discs, Aerobie, and Prodigy committed for donations!! We also have had quite a number of local golfers donating either discs or other goodies, and another good bit giving cash!! Anything you'd like to help with, be it donation prizes or money, or just a helping hand getting additional sponsors would be greatly appreciated!! I am looking for sponsors to help with donations for prizes and raffle items to help raise some funds to help one of our own out. If you have any ideas or contacts that you think could help, please let me know. This includes everything and anything, and any help will be greatly appreciated. Both events will have 100% of proceeds going right to Bill and Jessie, and this will include entry fees and any other monies raised during the events, with things like raffles, 50/50, and anything else we come up with. Please keep an eye out here and on Facebook for more info and spread the word to help support someone who really need it.
I am contacting any disc golf company I can think of. So far MVP, Dynamic Discs, Aerobie, and some of our locals have committed to donations. I'm also going to reach out to some sellers and goods manufacturers like Keen and Grip. We could use help with local business donations for each if you have any ideas or suggestions. I'm working with some east side locals to do just this. Disc golf retailers, restaurants, whatever. I have a typed letter if anybody needs it to help show this is legit. Just let me know and I can email it to whoever needs it.

Number 3 of 25 with a photo signed and a huk Lab sticker. I would like to see this auctioned to the highest bidder, but do what you please!! Pics on tourney page!! Bill and Jessie are true friends, and mean a lot to me. Without Bills help all the Ice Bowls and Winter Leagues could not operate at the OZ.
