2021 PDGA Women's Global Event

On May 8th and 9th, women from all around the world will play two rounds of disc golf at their local participating PDGA Women's Global Event. Scores from the first two rounds of each participating tournament will be submitted by the individual tournament directors and rated by the PDGA. These round ratings will be totaled and averaged to determine the player's "Global Score." For the rounds to qualify, the event must include two rounds and have at least three ratings propagators playing on the same course layout each round for ratings to be calculated as accurately as possible. Please note, the exact same course layout must be used for both rounds. The global results will be updated throughout the day to determine our PDGA Women’s Global Event Champions and the winner in each division will receive a memorable trophy.

For one-day, two-round events falling on either May 8 or May 9, 2021, both rounds on the day of the event will be included.
For a two-day, two-round event on May 8 - 9, 2021, both rounds will be included.
For events of three or more days on the weekend including May 8-9, 2021, the round(s) on May 8 will be included. If only one round was played on May 8, then the first round on May 9 will be included.
*Note for Juniors 12 and Under: As in 2018, Juniors 12 and under will have only one round (May 8th or 9th, 2021) included into the overall PDGA Women’s Global Event. The layout played by Juniors must have at least 3 propagators (with 8 officially rated rounds of 700+) playing that same layout to get an accurate rating for the PDGA Women’s Global Event.

I just placed an order for official PDGA WGE Players Packs! I have ordered 65 packs for the Ams. These packs consist of 2 discs, a towel and a tote bag. If there are leftovers, the Pros may purchase the whole package or part of a package for memorabilia.
I will also have a couple other player pack items in addition to these.

I didn’t look at pricing, but there are 4 hotels (Fairfield, Staybridge, Comfort Inn , and Hampton) in Okemos right off 96. There is a cracker Barrel, Jimmy Johns, Dunkin Donuts, McDs, Subway, and other options all right there. Probably a 15-20 minute drive to Burchfield, and still safe. Like Erin said, south Lansing isn’t super great and their aren’t any hotels in Holt. I live in Holt but unfortunately don’t have room for guests at this time. If I can be of more help with suggestions, please let me know.

Disc Golf for a Cause is running a giveaway to raise funds for the MWS finale event Battle of Boudica. 70% of the funds raised will be donated to this event. We have raised $115 so far and the drawing is on March 31st at midnight. If/When we hit $250 we will add some additional items to the giveaway!
